I wonder if he was setup? ie: THE IOC heads told him it was in the bag if he showed up and gave a speech. Just to say, "Sucker!" when he did....
 
The Obama-card is no longer any effective, it already lost it's left charm in the O-care and Afghanistan rhetoric...not to mention those countless smaller scandals like the immunity to torture, inciting racism etc.

O-card could have regained some lost 'balance' with a war...which too appears to have been thwarted.

Rio is only 2 hours off of my time zone - that makes it much easier to watch than Tokyo.

The one thing I don't get is that these are summer Olympics - and held 8/5 to 8/21 2016. That should be winter there. Anybody know what Rio's Augusts are like?
 
Hopefully nowhere in the U.S. gets it so we are not robbed to pay for it.

Yes, they clearly have been developing WMDs. They may deny it, but of course that's what they'd say -- are you willing to risk innocent kids getting vaporized in a nuclear holocaust? We need to take them out now!! Only when we have cameras in every home, place of business, and outhouse, when everyone's communications are being monitored, and when every brown person who doesn't welcome our hegemony (or lives near one who doesn't) has been blown up, will freedom truly be secure!

I was just wondering myself if somebody was gonna get bombed. I think it's great that Rio got it since no olympics has ever been in south america..that's a big boost for those people. Besides..lol I like their music.

4) South America has never hosted an Olympics.
5) U.S.A. has hosted four summer Olympics and four winter Olympics, and in the eyes of the world, already has had their share.
6) U.S.A. boycotted the 1980 Olympics for invading Afghanistan, now we are the occupiers in Afghanistan.
