Yes, George Carlin would be a great choice.

Also, check Ron Paul's page on Wikipedia, I believe they have a list of official endorsements there, though I'm sure it is incomplete.

Sadly, we really need Hudson Gibson to get his son Mel to endorse Ron Paul. Huckabee's poll rush is being fueled by a list of 75 million people who's marketing material was gathered by seeing Mel Gibson's "the Passion of Christ"... if Mel went out to endorse Paul the passion followers would flock with him.

Lenny Kravitz is releasing an album on 2-5-08 (the date of 20 primaries) entitled "It's time for a love revolution"

I think that he might be on board.

he hasn't said it, but I bet Kurt Russel endorses him. He said a while ago that he was a Libertarian.

Smashing Pumpkins recently released an album named Zeitgeist.
Simon and Garfunkel doing sounds of silence would be awesome.
Led Zepellin getting dropped of by the blimp - Epic.

I saw a youtube video of John Mayer drunk yelling at the Mac guy about how great Ron Paul is. He would be great if there really is a concert. Donna D'Errico from Baywatch says she likes him and has a lot of stuff about him on her website. Penn and Teller are Libertarians so maybe them.

GCN wants to put together a pro-Paul concert, attempting to pull in 20,000 people with some big musical talent (they're handling that part -- John Mayer, Moby?), and are looking for some other big names who may step onto stage with some good words for Ron Paul.

I am not well-versed on pop culture, so haven't tracked the various wrestlers, rappers and rodeo riders () who have had good things to say about Dr Paul. I do know about Barry Manilow (schedule won't fit) and Rocky Lynne, but don't remember the wrestlers' names.

I will link the people putting the event together to this post so they can pick up the names straight from you.

Thanks!

Is this in reference to www.ronpaulapalooza.com?

YOWZA! Look at this list! I googled "libertarian celebrities"

http://www.theadvocates.org/celebrities.html

Richard Branson, the billionaire who owns Virgin Airlines (and a thousand other businesses) is one! Of course, he is not an American, but he has a lot of influence.

I hope the campaign is chipping away at this list. Something tells me they are not though.
