Celebrity Endorsements so far?

GCN wants to put together a pro-Paul concert, attempting to pull in 20,000 people with some big musical talent (they're handling that part -- John Mayer, Moby?), and are looking for some other big names who may step onto stage with some good words for Ron Paul.

I am not well-versed on pop culture, so haven't tracked the various wrestlers, rappers and rodeo riders confused who have had good things to say about Dr Paul. I do know about Barry Manilow (schedule won't fit) and Rocky Lynne, but don't remember the wrestlers' names.

I will link the people putting the event together to this post so they can pick up the names straight from you.

Most people will not endorse someone, unless they are asked. The campaign badly needs to get on top of endorsements and be actively pursuing them.

Eminem's song Mosh is highly anti-war AND a perfect promotion for RP. It was written before Ron Paul even became a candidate. I don't know if he's backed a candidate or not but if he hasn't I'd say he needs to be recruited for RP. All one has to do is listen to this song to see where his political leanings are:

Pink is another possibility. She was sticking her neck out about this war long before it was fashionable. Google in video's for Pink and "Mr President" for a very emotional anti-war song. She might be willing to step up to the plate for an anti-war candidate.

Most "celebrities" who deign to speak out publicly on their political positions are left-leaning socialist bliss-ninnies, or watermelons (GREEN on the outside - RED on the inside), and are going to support and vote for the hand-picked socialist of the Power Elite. Those slim few who get the concept of freedom and liberty are more likely to keep their support out of the limelight. IMHO.

True dat. About 6 months ago he said he was in contact with some of the biggest names in Hollywood who were ready to come out of the "truther closet" LOL.

Some I know have already gone public are Martin and Charlie Sheen, David Arquette, Jeaneane Garofalo, Rosie O'Donnell, Daniel Sunjata, Mark Cuban and many others I just can't think of at the moment. This doesn't guarantee they are supporting Ron Paul but it sure makes it a good possibility.
