that Russia needs to be more serious about getting the Syrian government
to abide by the terms of the ceasefire.

Six days after the start of a fragile truce,
air strikes are reported to have targeted anti-government groups in Aleppo.

During an interview with the BBC, Mr Kerry was asked
to what extent the US military would be responsible if the ceasefire did not hold.

Syrian jets pound Aleppo as Syrian Army prepares to attack

ALEPPO, SYRIA (8:15 P.M.) - The Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAYF)
has restarted their aerial campaign over the jihadist-controlled districts of Aleppo city on Monday,
targeting several sites held by Jaysh Al-Fateh and Fatah Halab militants.

According to a military source in Aleppo,
the Syrian Air Force conducted airstrikes over the jihadist-controlled east districts,
along with several attacks on Khan Al-'Assal, Khan Touman, Khalsah, and Qarassi
in Aleppo's southern countryside.

In addition to the Syrian Air Force's attacks,
the Syrian Arab Army's artillery units have begun shelling several sites inside Aleppo.

These Syrian Arab Army artillery units are attempting to weaken
the jihadist defenses in southwest Aleppo,
as their comrades from the Republican Guard prepare to storm the area.

No firefights have been reported from Aleppo yet;
however, they are bound to start up in the coming hours
due to the conclusion of the ceasefire agreement.

It's clear after watching this whole fiasco since Russia intervened and created a conflicting opinion of the situation, that the US strives to maintain the appearance of diplomatic efforts while in practical effect is simply rationalizing facts on the ground which contradict it's supposed diplomatic efforts.

As Russia states, it appears the White House is not even in control really. My guess is, decisions are made and diplomats are handed scripts. Any diplomatic intelligence gained by Kerry, Powers, et al, from the Russians I'm sure is appreciated by whoever's in control, but there's likely no reciprocation.

Question is what exactly is Russia's plan here, if indeed they are not simply bound by these same restraints? To tell people the truth? Surely they know that's not going to work. Perhaps they too are controlled, or merely a pawn in the game to make the patriots think there's some real life underdog actually fighting for what's right when perhaps there isn't.

This level of pessimism is really only a symptom of how dark things are.

the footage is likely recorded on Saturday evening and not released until hours ago.

Due to ISIS upholding a siege on Deir Ezzor,
supplies can only reach the SAA and some 100,000 civilians in government-held districts through airdrop -
therefore, the city's airbase is of utmost importance.

►United Nations Red Crescent Society aid convoy destroyed in Aleppo

ALEPPO, SYRIA (11:35 P.M.) - A United Nations humanitarian aid convoy
was reportedly attacked by several aircraft in the northern region of Aleppo on Monday.

According to local activists in Aleppo,
the 25 truck humanitarian aid convoy was traveling through the town 'Urum Al-Kubrah,
when it was struck by either Syrian or Russian jets on Monday night.

The local activists claimed it was Russian jets that carried out the airstrikes;
however, it could not be confirmed at the moment.

The death toll from these airstrikes is also unknown,
but local activists claim that the head of the Syrian Red Crescent Society
was among the many casualties.

This large convoy was reportedly traveling from Turkey
before they encountered several jets in northwestern Aleppo.

►The airstrike location was about 6 miles past the 'breach' area on the way to Idlib City. (known staging area for Sharm/Nusra.)

This area is a CURRENT HOTBED of bombing

So... the Druze have risen.
They are the main tribal ethnic group in the Golan area.
They span the boundaries of Israel, Lebanon and Syria and always have.

The Israeli 'assisted' attacks last week by the Qaeda/Nusra headchoppers
on their village of Hader was the last straw.
They rallied themselves into a militia to fight alongside the Syrian army against the 'intruders'.

They have protested about the collusion for years, on the Israeli side of the Golan,

In the video message he promises that Druze fighters will defend their people,

has inspected the frontlines with Druze fighters in Quneitra.

US foreign policy has completely flew the coop.

On Saturday we claim killing 62 Syrian soldiers and wounding 100 others was a mistake and everyone needs to chill out.

Now less than 2 days later, after Assad/Russia gives up on cease fire that only they are following, US says they support extending cease fire, when US can't control it's supposed allied "moderates" and on top of that is killing Syrian soldiers at the same time????!!!!

And now, the US has the balls to claim that Russia is responsible for Assad attacking an aid convoy that hasn't even been proven, and yet the US is not responsible for an attack on 162 soldiers fighting ISIS that they openly admit to?

All hail Lord Obama and his army of angels that can do no wrong.

ISIS rapidly recapturing villages from Turkey-backed militants in northern Syria

Following the recapture of the villages of Sandi, Shaw al-Kabir, Shaw al-Saghir and al-Rawdah by ISIS,
the terrorist group have captured more villages from Turkey-backed forces.

These include the capture al-Ithriya and al-Ayubiyah laying east of al-Ra'i, northern Aleppo countryside.

MOSCOW, September 20. /TASS/. The humanitarian convoy
that was attacked on Monday in the Syrian province of Aleppo
was followed by a terrorists’ pickup truck carrying a large-caliber mortar, (byom )
Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday.

"Analysis of video records from drones of yesterday’s movement
of the humanitarian convoy across Aleppo’s territories controlled by militants has revealed new details.
It is clearly seen in the video that a terrorists’ pickup truck with a towed large-caliber mortar
is moving along with the convoy," he said.

"It is not clear who is covering home: either the mortar is covering the convoy with the White Helmets volunteers or vise versa," he said.

"And the most important question: where this mortar had disappeared when the convoy reached its destination
and
where it was targeting fire at when the convoy was being unloaded," Konashenkov added.

Earlier, the UN head office in New York
said a joint humanitarian convoy of the United Nations and the Syrian Red Crescent Society
came under bombardment near Aleppo on September 19.
Several people were injured.
The French news agency France Presse
quoted the International Federation of the Red Cross and Redd Crescent Societies as saying
the attack left 20 civilians and one Syrian Red Crescent staffer dead.

Later, the United Nations declared
it was suspending another convoy to Syria due to security problems.
The Syrian Red Crescent Society paused its activity in Aleppo for three days
in protest against the bombardment.

The United Nations said it was unable to establish the details of the attack,
but "various sources" confirmed that the city came under artillery fire on Monday.

A US Administration official said the humanitarian convoy came under an air raid,
adding that the US-led international anti-terrorist coalition was not responsible.

Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday
neither Russian nor Syrian warplanes had delivered any strikes
at the United Nations humanitarian convoy
in Aleppo’s southwestern neighborhoods.

If I'm understanding you correctly, Putin and Assad are starving children, kidnapping puppies and hammering kittens. And also that evidence from preliminary investigations show that Russian warplanes bombed the UN aid convoy.

It's clear after watching this whole fiasco since Russia intervened and created a conflicting opinion of the situation, that the US strives to maintain the appearance of diplomatic efforts while in practical effect is simply rationalizing facts on the ground which contradict it's supposed diplomatic efforts. As Russia states, it appears the White House is not even in control really. ...

Question is what exactly is Russia's plan here?

It is my impression that Russia has been trying to allow Washington to save face. They are allowing Washington a joint effort; End ISIS; Take credit. Proclaim the right to self determination for Syrian people to decide their own government. Proclaim victory. Leave, and allow peace.

However Washington just doesn't get it. Syria is a red line in the sand for Russia (and probably China and Iran as well). They will not allow Washington another regime change in Syria. It is not going to happen period. Washington hasn't gotten the message. Washington continues to embarrass itself even further. Continues to get caught in lies. Continues to get caught supporting the terrorists. Washington's imported proxy foreign terrorists continue to get exposed. Russia is maintaining the status quo, doing most everything to avoid escalation while Syria continues to make consistent creeping progress. Washington is being handed a free pass to declare victory and leave, but Washington just continues to pile lie upon lie, and crime upon crime instead.

imposed full control over several sites inside Aleppo's southern districts
after a fierce battle with Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest).

According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent that is embedded with the Tiger Forces,
the Syrian Arab Army and their allies managed to capture the Fertilizer Factory
and the Old Ramouseh Offices after bypassing Jaysh Al-Fateh's defenses.

These aforementioned sites that were captured by the Syrian Armed Forces this morning,
had been under the control of the jihadist rebels since late 2012.

Meanwhile, at the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project,
the Syrian Armed Forces have seized most of the district and most of Hikmah Hill,
leaving the jihadist rebels with very little room to retreat.

Clashes are still ongoing at the 1070 Housing Project;
