Hegemon Games

US airstrikes on Syrian troops were ‘intentional,’ lasted nearly 1 hour – Assad to AP

Russia does not rule out strikes against Jaysh al-Islam and Ahrar Al-Sham

(Besides fighting alongside ISIS, Ahrar Al-Sham has now 'pledged' it's support to Turkey & FSA)

From this article we learn:

REJECTION OF 'NO-FLY'

Moscow also believes that Washington’s proposal on banning flights in Syria is not 'workable'
and is simply 'using' the humanitarian airstrike,
while trying to assert this no-fly pronouncement using 'guilt' instead of a proper
investigation into the incident and analyzing the DATA provided by
Russia's Defense Ministry.

KERRY GRANDSTANDING AT UN:

At a session of the UN Security Council,
the level of the heads of delegations taking part in the 71st session of the UN General Assembly,
US Secretary of State John Kerry dismissively declared the facts furnished by Russia
regarding the humanitarian convoy attack were contradicting one another.

Russia urged that a thorough and professional investigation into the incident
and stressed in its statements that Russian and Syrian warplanes conducted no strikes on the convoy.

ATTACK DRONE WAS MONITORED AND TRACKED
An attack drone Predator, capable of hitting targets on the ground,
was registered in the area where the UN humanitarian convoy came under attack
at an altitude of 3,600 meters flying at an airspeed of 200 kilometers per hour.

The drone had taken off from Turkey’s Incirlik air base
and had "entered airspace over the Urum al-Kubra community several minutes before the convoy caught fire.
And it left thirty minutes later,".

RUSSIA US AGREEMENT
"We are not about to quit that agreement.
On the contrary, we believe that the events of the past few days have underscored its super-relevance,"

"Regrettably, the US Administration is still unable to do what is required for the full implementation of the agreement," Ryabkov said.
"To be more precise, to bring about the separation of the moderates and the terrorists.
Nor can the United States guarantee the implementation of a number of other components
as the opponents of this agreement used "the straightest way of disrupting it -
the way of provocations and the use of force and actions that provoke the Syrian government forces to react."

"We, too, cannot afford to stay aloof, bearing in mind
that the task of eliminating terrorist groups that threaten Syria
remain the focus of our attention," Ryabkov said.

New!! Improved!! (now with moar brain whitening POWER :) )

So now, 'suddenly'...
There is 'new footage' amazingly 'released' 3 days late
purporting to be footage of the convoy attack and
comes CONVENIENTLY "with warplane clearly audible &
showing a powerful airstrike on UN/SYRedCrescent aid convoy & depot."
Wow.
https://twitter.com/QalaatAlMudiq/status/778981911901401088

1. You can't even be sure if it an actual picture of the site.
2. You can't be sure if it was a plane.
3. The jihaddi White Helmet dude said it was an attack of helicopters
4. Strange that the guy can't discern diff btw helicopter & fighter jet yet KNOWS exactly 4 barrel bombs were dropped,

The new footage will make no difference... (imo)
people will 'see' what they want to 'see'.
Even when forensics gets involved...
What did we 'learn' from the 'Dutch' investigation of MH17?
Nothing. Arguments are still ongoing.

It has already started. I won't start posting all of that crap and engage RPF in all the arguments and nit picking.
Been there done that elsewhere. Here are a couple photos to show it HAS begun...
w/ simple questions like:
How can you have the 'tail' of a 'supposedly' exploded bomb underneath unburned cardboard 'supposedly' from the 'explosion'?
The bomb exploded but apparently it didn't make a bang big enough to tear cardboard?
See what I mean? Questions just start popping... so I'm going to stop. See?? I just stopped. :)
Here are the photos:

Russian MoD Spox Rebukes Top US General (heh heh... that was my own headline. Pretty good eh? )

Top US general: Russia responsible for Syria aid convoy bombing
142845Image1.jpg

"There's no doubt in my mind that Russians are responsible. It was either the Russians or the regime," he said.
(gee... I can tell. You've really thought this through.)
Gen. Igor Konashenkov

(TASS) "Facts made available to the Russian Defense Ministry prove unambiguously
a US Predator drone from Turkey's Incirlik airbase
was present in the zone of attack on the UN humanitarian convoy in Syria,"
Gen Igor Konashenkov said on Thursday.

He said it in a comment
on the claim by the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen Joseph Dunford
who told members of a Senate committee
the US military did not have proof to support the suppositions
that the convoy had been bombed by Russian warplanes.

"This hasn’t been concluded but my judgment would be they did it," Gen Dunford said.

"Unlike the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff,
we do have facts or the information from air data recorders
on the situation in the Aleppo zone on September 19," he said.

"And this information proves very unambiguously
a US attack drone Predator from Incirlik airbase
was present in the zone of location of the humanitarian convoy
near the town of Urum al-Kurba."

"What the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff
and the U.S. Secretary of Defense have at their disposal -
and it’s clear to everyone now -
is their personal opinions
and
fear for a yet another error or a purported provocation," Gen Konashenkov said.

"Generally speaking,
if the US Army plans its combat operations and makes reports to the President
on the basis of personal opinions instead of verified intelligence data,
is it a surprise then
that the US military regularly make the blunders,
which claim the lives of hundreds of innocent people around the world?"
he said.
