First of all, to believe a CBS poll is ridiculous. Have we forgotten that old media skews polls to their liking?
Second of all, Republicans are not the voters we're going after. They are neocons, did you forget? We're looking for disaffected Democrats and Independents.
The RP supporters who won Jefferson County, Iowa for us told us that they didn't bother with hard core Republicans. For a good reason--they didn't want to waste their time!!!

It makes a big difference whether it is 56% of the whole sample or 56% of the say 10% who heard of him. I did not see which is the case.
A big problem is the disinformation of painting RP as a liberal pacifist who will leave us defenseless.
The neocons can poison the well with the paleocons and independents that RP needs.

Bah, it has nothing to do with "Conspiracy theorists". "Racists" or any other drivel.
The Obama camp is making that claim as well, "It was racists who wouldn't vote for him".
It's not RP's "style", it's not his "electable" status, it's not his shoes or clothes or any other damn thing.
It's the message, and it would behoove all of us to burn this fact in our collective brains:
Freedom and Peace are NOT popular, Welfare and Warfare IS.
And the knuckleheads that are most of our fellow citizens will get plenty of both from any of the clowns that may become anointed to the presidency.
Screw 'em. Worse is Better at this point. Those of us "in the know" realize that we are broke, and that the gravy train is coming to an end very soon.
Push the whole rotten edifice over and start anew.

George W. Bush didn't return the money Don Black gave to him, and no one criticized him for it. He also didn't discourage Don Black and the Stormfronters from organizing pro-Bush demonstrations during the Florida recount.

The BIG picture of a recount would be to end the computerized voting schemes in all the other states.. If they see that there was voting fraud by computer, then they MUST end it in all states.. How hard is it really to count votes by hand, by precinct?? This is absurd

Luntz had his magic mind reading machine on after the debate and it showed what he said was the LOWEST score it has EVER registered when Ron Paul was speaking. Too bad he was so quick to put it on that he failed to edit out the cheering in the background....
AMEN, Brother!! They are almost ridiculous in their spins and a lot of people will see that..

Unfortunately, I think this poll mirrors other polls that have shown that Ron Paul has a high unfavorable rating among Republicans.
This is because Republicans have been brainwashed by Fox News & talk radio, and because Ron Paul supporters have irked the party because we're not party hacks, don't follow their system, and for the most part don't appear to be "republicans."
Ron Paul's numbers are good enough that he has to keep appearing in debates but the party hates him.
