It really is flooring how much sway and power the media holds, right? People keep delusionally believing the Internet is making old media an irrelevant dinosaur, and yet they can take 1% candidates and make them become first-place overnight just by repeating the lie ("she won!") often enough.

Kind of like how they took Rick Santorum in late December 2011 and made him a thing, right as it was beginning to look like a Ron Paul Iowa Caucus win was likely.

MSM continues its mantra that Rand is an ineffective debater whose popularity continues to diminish. This is what the electorate will increasingly believe.

Rand should never have promised to support the Republican nominee. I have assumed all along that he threatened (through the appropriate establishment back channels) to run independent if they screwed with him. But now I am unsure.

What this represents is that CNN loves Bush. But even he can see that Bush inspires nobody. Fiorina does. My opinion does not figure into this. CNN is treading water and they know it. They are going to try to hitch their wagon to Fiorina and act like they know how to pick a candidate.
