Marvel Comics has unveiled a first look at a new Captain America.

The new character, Aaron Fischer, represents the first LGBTQ character to pick up Cap's shield in the comic's 80-year history.

Fischer is described as "the Captain America of the Railways — a fearless teen who stepped up to protect fellow runaways and the unhoused. Marvel Comics is proud to honor Pride Month with the rise of this new LGBTQ+ hero."

Don't know about the comic books, but in the movies, Cap. America got old and turned his shield over to some black dude. Thor became an overweight pathetic joke, and turned his people over to a black woman who promised fundamental change.

Other than that, no politics in fantasyland.

There is hardly any show on television now that doesn't feature a gay male kissing scene. Some have said that this is payback.for all of the straight kisses that gay people have had to.suffer through over the decades.

Hmm, sounds about statistically accurate/representative though. Sure, there are gay people and that's fine (any libertarian should agree) but media is acting like at least 1 in 5 people is gay instead of the more realistic ~4% average.

Even Gallup says that the media programming is working very well to make people think the gay population is much higher than it really is.

You mean to tell me that the biggest consumers of "trash tv" are terribly overestimating the percentage of gay population? Unpossible! What's interesting about the poll is that the numbers have apparently been mostly unchanged over the last 10 years. I'm not sure I buy that but time does fly and perhaps media has been inserting this false representation of gay population longer than it feels like. eta: that poll does cut off at 2019. I wonder what the perceived percentage is now, since gay characters are obligatory to every show.

This is another front on the ongoing war.

I'd say those numbers are underestimated, especially kids in the 15-25 year old bracket.

They have been drenched in weirdosexual propaganda (and whoever knows what poisons in the air, food and water) from the day they were born.

So many of these kids are emotional, physical and sexual train wrecks.

Which is just what the system wants, because they can not and will not have kids of their own.

We can see how peer pressure can be reversed relatively quickly, where people that are gay were in the closet but now some kids are acting gay, but aren't really, just to be culturally relevant among their peers. Real gay people do exist for whatever reason as 4% of the population and that's ok. I think no matter what we can agree that there's something really messed up about targeting children with this stuff.
