Call your Cable company and tell them they have 24 hours to drop Fox News network from your cable, and when they refuse do it.

Cable should be al la carte. You should be able to pick only the channels you want.

My wife says shut up and stop being stupid.

I think no cable companies are. One would think there is money in a la carte cable.

The problem with a la carte and the reason they don't like it, is because you could order a station for a month, then drop it the next, packages encourage people to stay month to month.

This is not the answer. This makes it into the cable companies competing for "our money" vs. "their money". The answer is to boycott all of the companies that advertise on Fox News. A full on boycott is the only answer. These companies both will listen and have no actual vested interested in Fox News. There are plenty of places for them to advertise, so they can just go spend their advertising money somewhere else.

Huh? Cable companies should compete for our money.

I will be canceling mine very soon. The only channels I used to watch were the cable news networks (which I no longer do) and History/Discovery/Learning/Travel/Military etc... I think $75/month could better be spent elsewhere.

Yep me too. BTW Nat Geographic channel is also owned by newscorp.
