Can we get 1000 "I #StandWithRand" Stickers at CPAC 2013?

For some reason I thought they will not be round but square:

I #StandWithRand.
[SUP]and you write something here in smaller letters[/SUP]

If you are not using "#" then you are losing "brand", recognition and failing to harness fame of this hash tag.... but then again me and design were never good friends.

The hashtag has nothing to do with branding. The statement alone is its own hashtag which is why it became hashtag worthy on Twitter. Folks who Twitter don't need the hashtag because it's understood, and folks who don't Twitter don't give a shit about the hashtag (it's just unnecessary clutter to them).

Thanks for the suggestion. Is something like this what you had in mind?

@Cleaner44- nice, that looks good. Seems official and something the campaign would put out!:)
No, not at all what I meant. Ha. I think your first ones were closer because they are easier to read. The point of the sticker is to make them legible and recognizable from a distance. But this one from a distance is just going to look like garbled text.

STAND and RAND are the important words, so they really need to stand out. "With" is not as important because it's understood (the solidarity of standing with a sticker allies one with Rand, and the brain itself automatically fills in the thought given the slightest prompt), and therefore "with" can be a smaller size. "I" could be large, could be smaller, or could even be omitted; this one is a judgement call based on design.

As a general rule of thumb, think of the sticker as a thought logo. Logos are best when simple and recognizable.

Hah, alright. I had a few others I forgot to post (still have more with slightly different variations).

I don't think it matters anymore though, I think Radio found a design already.

best one out of all of them. I really think the # is necessary though.

This is the one I'm going with for now. Thanks, a friend has offered to pay for my flight and I have places to stay. I'd like to raise about $200 for printing these.
I sure would appreciate the RPF members help! Please take a look, donate and share: http://iroots.org/donate/

How can you say that it got nothing with branding? That hashtag that was trending and was number 1 in US and in the world is something companies would pay unbelievable amounts of money. connected to identified with. #StandWithRand extremely valuable and identified with something positive by 99.9% of people. This hashtag will remind them of what he did and connect him to positive. It is a golden geese. Politicians would pay for it. Not to use it would be missing opportunity.

You just hate internetz. Confess it!!! Confess!!! CONFESS!!!

I confess I ate my brothers last cookie 11 years ago. I confess I confeeees.

This isn't really good, but I was bored and didn't want to work on my current work project. Haha!

I just had a friend offer to pay my plane ticket and I have a connection to a booth in the convention/table area. Here are my other plans. (I do need some help and also people who can help distribute these stickers).

Our founder (he did the grassroots videos for RevPAC) is looking to go to CPAC 2013 to really push this drone debate further. Getting politicians on the record on this question,

“If drones are inappropriate to use against American citizens, why are they okay overseas against noncombatants?”

You may have heard that Senator McCain called Rand Paul and those who supported his recent filibuster, “wacko birds.” In response, we will be bringing a real life Angry Birds-style game for participants to try to “nail a neocon.” I think a stuffed pig with an affixed Senator McCain or Lindsey Graham photo will do well as targets! We will also be bringing 500+ “I #StandWithRand” stickers. (We do need some design work on the stickers!)

Holy $hit I'm barley able to type how funny it would be to throw a stuffed bird with mcains face taped on it. Talk about an ANGRY OLD BIRD

I think you don't get the concept of Angry Birds lol. The birds are the good guys. We're wacko birds. They're the pigs.

I wish there were more time to plan:

How about something simple like this:

It should be easy and cheap to print.
To me, this one is the best so far. Simple. Clear. Definite.

It just needs a different background color (maybe red or blue) because the black background feels a bit dark/morbid.

I emailed the OP a different version of it with a dark blue background and in high quality (2000x2000). I'll resize it and post it here in the morning. I'm off to bed now.

Cool. I've no doubt that one probably works even better. I got impatient :p and tried to see for myself what it might look like and came up with this:

I also added a slight tinge of silver into the font as I found that made the words appear (at least to my eye) more sturdy and reliable and less assaulting than pure white.

Something like this sticker would cost about $0.25/sticker, or roughly $250/1K, on Zazzle.

I love the StandWithRand stickers - great way to show solidarity and give emphasis for the straw poll.

The whole wacko birds, drones overseas, making McCain a target, just doesn't sit well with me if we're trying to attract folks. At this particular juncture, seems better to emphasize areas where we can all get on board, not things that may divide the conference.

Even Rand drew a clear line about what he was talking about during the filibuster, and all his words were words meant to create broad coalitions. I say we keep focusing on that.

That said, have fun at CPAC!
