Can McCain even be President?

But what kind of citizen, if the Congress enacted a statute giving him his citizenship through parentage, it is naturalization, since Congress cannot make a law to define a Constitutional term.

No. Read my other posts on this. The common law, views of the Founding Fathers, Congressional statutes uniformly on the question from the 18th century through today, the US Supreme Court consistently and legal scholars all say McCain is a natural born citizen because his parents were citizens when he was born.

You are erroneous to state McCain is a naturalized citizen though parentage. He is a "natural born citizen" through his parents, not a "naturalized" citizen no.
Either produce his specific, personal naturalization records or stop this nonsense.

Nate, please, please, please stop this foolishness unless your goal is to demonstrate to the world that Paul supporters really are nutjobs and your aim is to embarrass the good doctor.

Look, this is at least worth a try, everything is, and many mainstream people have called into question his ability to be President, it is not just Ron Paul sycophants.

OFten times on the certificate are the verbage of that era that he falls within.

There is no change by era: the common law, the views of the Founding Fathers, the Constitution, all Congressional statutes from the 18th century to present, the US Supreme Court in the 19th and 20th centuries consistently all show in all eras that foreign born children of US citizens are "natural born citizens." That's it.

i hate mccain as anyone else, but natural citizenship is a BS argument imo. We can take him down other ways.

He's not going to be Pres anyway.

Another thing - People think that Obama's got the Dem nomination wrapped up with a bow, but Hillary is going to win. Then she'll spank McCain until that big vein on his neck bursts...

If it's Hillary vs Ron Paul, then it's a guaranteed win.:o

lol....

No matter how many times you post this, the fact remains the Constitution, views of the Founding Fathers, common law, US Statute and the US Supreme Court all agree.:

JOHN McCAIN IS A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN BECAUSE HIS PARENTS WERE CITIZENS WHEN HE WAS BORN

In his case, it has nothing to do with geography. There is no dispute here.

No matter how many times you post this with no facts to back up natural born citizen it proves that only going to the supreme court will it be decided...

go ahead show us the papers tha make him a natural born citizen

Go ahead show us the papers that make him a natural born citizen...

Anyway...the thing to do is press ahead and hire an attorney..dont have time to argue the very points that judges have to decide...its not up to personal opinions.

I understand bradley that you want closer but this is not something we non supreme court judges will rule on.

Its something that needs challenging but nothing any thing or anyone is showing from experts anywhere puts this to bed for any legal experts at all.

All you see is writings on one side or the other...is he or is he not a natural born citizen...

And certiainly anything and i mean absolutely anything i have ever saw come out of mccain's lips is an absolute lie...so if he says this has been settled then i know for sure it has not.

Know i am not angry...just telling you i have a difference of interpretation on reading the same documents, and reading a bunch of legal experts opinions.

You maybe in line with a future supreme court ruling, i might be, who knows...i am just wanting to make it happen...the ruling.
