Can anybody explain to me why the GOP would want to nominate RP, when he didn't win one single state by popular vote? Seriously?

The people voted for Romney in overwhelming numbers. And a more dedicated subset of these sheep are Romney delegates, which comprise the vast majority of delegates at the convention. The People don't want Ron Paul. And I don't think they care if Romney has money in Israeli banks. And if Romney became disqualified for legal transgressions, the delegates would likely pick an establishment alternative. Unless we have a surprising amount of stealth delegates.

Well, either he won Maine, or he didn't. The fact is, the delegates would be better selecting Rick Santorum or Newt Gingrich to run against Obama, than Mitt Romney or Ron Paul. You gotta remember most of your Americans are lazy when it comes to politics, and can tell you more about American Idol, the NFL, NHL, Honey Boo Boo, etc., than they can about the Constitution, taking an oath, and being a conservative...but by golly they have Fox News to reinforce their group think zombie minds that Romney is different than Obama.
Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich ran like they wanted to win, and didn't simply stand by and allow their campaigns to totally sink because they didn't want to be interviewed by people in the media they didn't like. Last I checked, Rick Santorum also didn't allow his campaign website to be used to defend his nephew's endorsement of Ron Paul...I guess Santorum missed the book on how to keep campaigns/movements together.

You act as though I didn't think he was going to win in May of 2011. When he announced he was going to run I felt it, I felt he was going to win.
We got robbed of IA, robbed of ME and then our momentum went awry.
I tried man, but if anyone believes he will still be president, they are living in a fantasy land.
You all can humiliate me all you want if he wins the Republican nomination, but it's not going to happen.
I was happy go lucky from the get-go but I was always realistic. It's a different situation now and I'm still being realistic. Ron won't win.

Ya know what.. Some of us don't care and are in this for other reasons. Ergo bullshit artists like Erowe are a pain in the ass to have to read when all they do is function as an autoblithering downer. My job is to kick that shit in it's teeth and add some upbeat. I don't give a good goddamn about what your "reality" is. I change my reality to suit my life..NOBP get's my momentum behind them. I don't care who is POTUS if RP isn't. I hope the essence of that is clear...because it certainly is to me. RP is America's President. The rest are shill for the corporation and do not work for the people. So support who you want but don't think we are firing short on all cylinders. We have changed the narrative and will continue to do so. What if Romney gets arrested by US Marshalls next week? It can happen and actually ought to considering his offshore funds, his connection to the ponzi scheme that netted his partner 110 years in jail and the Vatican slush fund of 700 million (Obamas is a few billion or more) that has or will be uncovered by Italian financial investigators. That is probably just the tip of the iceberg of bigtime corruption and organized crime connections that Romney made loot from./

The corrupt convention apparatus will pick an establishment alternative. If you see an alternative strategy that elects Paul at that fiasco, I'd like to know what you have in mind.

If they US Marshalls arrested Romney it would be a shoe in for RP. If Romney goes down the Bush crime family is only one step above and know they are on the target list for financial crimes. The arrests are ongoing and Israeli banks have been the latest in the crosshairs.. If Romney goes down then his Israeli pals are a part of the investigation. None of their shillworkers will get the nomination either.

Your post always imply that I'm some sort of troll...as if I never supported Paul in the first place.
I got ridiculed every day I had class for being a RP supporter. I was constantly ridiculed by family as well. Everyday I tried to educate somebody, some days it worked others it didn't but I never gave up. Wore my RP shirts every time I went out, put a decal on my car, as soon as I move to my new job I'll be able to get a RP tat somehwere. I lived and breathed and still continue to live and breathe for the message of RP and that is something that will never change.
But you know what, I don't fool myself into thinking that RP can still win this. Ok, Romney gets arrested next week. Bush or Santorum or Gingrich or any other pretentious cocksucker will be the nominee.
We've made great strides in electing pro-liberty minded people to higher-office, I don't deny the fact that we've changed the narrative, but it is time for people to wake the fuck up when it comes to the man who started all of this. I love Ron, I love his message but I'm not going to sit around and be delusional and try to create out of whack scenarios where Ron will be president because it just won't happen.
I'm not voting in this years election. And I may never vote again.
This was our chance and we got fucked.
Maybe Rand in 2016, or someone else pro-liberty, but the Ron-era is coming to an end.

No it wouldn't. Every single person in that convention hall would have a better chance of getting nominated by those delegates than Ron Paul would. You might as well tell us that Ron Paul has a chance of getting nominated at the Democrat convention while castigating those who disagree with you about that.
