That's all great, but I think Rev's point, which I agree completely with, is that your 'realistic' view comes across as little more than an arrogant, absolutist one. There a bit difference between you, who declares absolutely that something WILL NOT come to pass, and someone who remains open to all possibilities. You might as well have not wasted your time with Ron Paul, what took you so long to come to the conclusion that everything is stacked against him? You sound exactly like any one of he neocon talking heads who repeated through the ENTIRE election season that Ron Paul not only was unlikely to win, but he absolutely couldn't.

It's really easy to avoid this type of conflict by not talking like a fortune teller, instead a little humility can make all the difference. Then again, if conflict and arguement is what you're after, carry on.

im not sure what route are we going for...

but if VP make sure at the convention, you dont get confused on which paul to vote for for VP... doesnt the convention determine who will be VP? PAUL ryan or Ron PAUL. the convention will try to trick you to voting for Paul Ryan. mark my words.
