Campaign Running TV Ads?

I live in Michigan and haven't seen any Ron Paul TV ads. In fact, the only ads I've seen are Romney's, and they've been playing for weeks.

Anyways, the anti-NAFTA stance REALLY works well with Michiganders.

None that I've seen. The economy is a far more important issue to Michiganders. Anti-war should probably be targeted at SE part of the state.

Really? What is so special about southeast Michigan that it is anti-war?

ok, i have not heard any candidate on the gop side mention getting rid of the patriot act......i even checked huck out and not a word on that i found.....i dont think that has been talked about enough..... the patriot act is very dangerous to our civil rights.....as far as i know,rp is the only one who wants to abolish it......

how about a person standing protesting the war grabbed and thrown into a cell....he yells i want my layer...in reply, the guard says you dont get one under the patriot act.......and the prisoner looks terrified as the door slams shut.....this can become reallity in the future....
vote rp so it doesnt happen to you or your children..... something on that note.....show people they should be afraid of the patriot act....and it can happen in the future.....dont kid yourself....it is a reallity....

Yesterday I heard a Ron Paul radio ad during Sean Hannity's program on 760 WJUR in Detroit.

I only heard the last 5 seconds of the ad, so I'm not sure which one it was exactly, but it was something like this:

Is the campaign running TV or Radio Ads in Michigan? It would make sense to really blanket the airwaves with anti-war ads right before the election.

Michigan could make this campaign. We really need to get a decent showing somewhere and a win in Michigan seems very possible. I don't think we will do well in South Carolina (perhaps decent though) so Nevada is the only other state we have a shot at taking.

The campaign should really be pooring some cash into the airwaves right now, since democrats need to know that Ron Paul is the best alternative

More Democrats in that part of the state. The rest of the state is more Republicans, western part especially.

I have been bringing up the Patriot Act with everyone. The people in the UP are very receptive to this. It is very hard to combat the media blackout here. Michigan has more land than any state east of the Mississippi. Gas prices and distances between people are hard to overcome.

On a positive note...they are predicting very low turnout. There is also snow in the forecast for Sunday through Tuesday here, though it will be tapered off by Tuesday. It's coming off the lake, so pray for the cold winds to blow. A lot of people just won't go vote if the roads are buried. I am conspiring to keep my hubby home on Monday (his day off) when they call him in to plow the roads. Every bit helps!
