Campaign needs the money NOW, not the next money bomb

The importance of these ad drives by the official campaign cannot be under emphasized. Right now people are hearing Ron Paul's name on the radio and television out of the context of his positions. Ron Paul is gaining name recognition and needs to capitalize on it with television ads. If we allow him to flood the television and radio waves now, voters will know the message behind the man they hear about in the news.

Think about how many hours we have spent sign holding, passing out slim jims, and trying to pass along videos. All of that was in order to help people become exposed to Ron Paul's message. The media is now giving him air time, it is up to us to help him raise his voice through ads promoting his positions. The money you donate now will be spent on ads that have a MUCH larger effect than any ads we previously have seen launched. The echo chamber effect taking hold now that the media is giving Ron Paul air time is helping the message be spread to millions of home across the country simultaneously.

Donate what you can today and help amplify the message of liberty. The reward will be winning Iowa which carries with it many new supporters and their donations.

can't someone just make a bar that adds constantly today's total after today ends? The data updates here: http://paul.depositwiz.com/ so it should be as simple as making. Then just total up the day when it hits 24th hour and start adding the next day. I know how to do it with formulas in excel, but no idea on the HTML stuff. It exists on http://paul.depositwiz.com/ so it should just be adding a better graphic and rolling total.... then just post at the top of daily paul and RPF and keep posting in FB etc constantly...

I totally agree but it would be much easier to push this idea to people outside of the forum if there was an official ticker.

We need an on going money bomb that peaks on December 16th or later, starting tomorrow if that is possible. We need to seize the momentum and run with it now!

Dr. Paul specifically stated in the email that if you are waiting for the next money bomb to donate half now. We can do both. They just need a boost now so they can afford their next ad buy and make sure the other campaigns don't drown them out.

I do however really wish they would put up a ticker!

How have we communicated to the official campaign in the past?

There's no way we're going to get 65,000 people to donate $100 on Dec. 16th if we only have 2,000 pledged right now.

There is, however, a real chance of that happening if we build momentum of actual donations continuously for 10 days up to Dec. 16th, after which, new people will continue to donate.

I'm just trying to be as realistic as possible, and take into the consideration of what RP need now. We as the grassroots need to be flexible, and realize that fact.
