Does the CFL stink to anybody else? You know what I mean...something doesn't smell right to me.

I'll provide more details from my point if you wish, but I hope most of you know what I am talking about.

For a roughly 30 day countdown, yeah, I must admit that I was expecting a bit more.

Security issues, unclarity about usernames carrying over from the old site, a lot of people trying to learn a new site when our Senate my be on the verge of betraying the people today, etc.

I think it has improvement potential. I like the new features, and I'm able to look up my state and see how each representative voted on the bail out. Pretty cool.

EDIT: Oh, I assume you are talking about the new site vs. the old?

Or you think 'campaign for liberty' stinks in general?

I've had persons who will remain unnamed make the point that some individuals are way over extending themselves.

However

When the boots on the ground are too few and the fronts so many it is understandable that certain things fall through the cracks.

I know personally those involved in building this effort and I feel that motives are pure.

Many of these people are novices in their own right and are getting their butts kicked in the learning curve.

You may not have anything nice to say but at least give them time to address the flaws and glitches as they are identified.

I don't think it stinks...I just dont' like the internet marketing aspect...I want a more raw grass roots effort. The message is still fantastic. That's my only beef. Tones

It's no excuse. I am an award winning web designer and an Internet consultant. I would have LOVED to have helped for no pay. Why are they not hiring people that know what they are doing??

I just think the site is ugly as hell! Why can't terra ecclipse make this one??

See this is what I am talking about...there are MANY people who would volunteer. Why is it so cliquish? That's not grassroots . That's Internet Marketing from a few people who are making a living...I want GRASSROOTS...accept the volunteers to do these EXPENSIVE paid jobs! Tones

A friend of mine is in the same position, he is an educated computer programmer and even runs his own internet business. Upon contacting the CFL wanting to WORK FOR FREE, he was brushed off as though he was not needed. Suspicions are afoot that the paid programmers for the CFL are simply holding on to their monopoly so their jobs are not outsourced to those who would do the same or better work for free.

Swath..exactly. That is what I am NOT liking. I am old and I've been around the block. Why can't qualified people VOLUNTEER and cut the cost? Then we woudnt HAVE to pay for materials. Why are they cutting good Liberty supporters out? Tones

My friend in south florida was working for Restore the Republic before Russo died. She said she's known Trevor Lyman since then...he was working doing marketing for that group before he got involved in the Ron Paul campaign. RtR knew Ron Paul was going to announce a presidential run. It appears some of the same people who are on the C4L payroll were on that payroll before RP's campaign. I hope I don't get banned for putting out this information. I want C4L to succeed! I want it to be a TRUE grassroots effort...not an Internet Marketing project for a handful of people to make a living. sigh... TONES

Haven't been to the new site, or the old one much, but as one who played some role in the campaign, this type thing seems to be a reoccurring problem with Dr. Paul. The way I see it, for some reason everything he does seems to be run by PAID incompetents, and and high quality effective people volunteering are refused. No explanations, but it does seem to be a trend. Like his ideas, but certainly not his management style.
