(Called for KERRY B!) Field Report From Bentivolio Race / Official Results Thread

According to my source:
@ToddAkin's early lead being powered by strong margins in STL/St. Charles County and strong 2nds to @sarah_steelman in SWMO. #MOSEN

Hopefully John Brunner can take back the lead. If not, I hope Steelman can overtake Akin...she's at least more conservative than he is (she has the endorsement of Senator Mike Lee)

Thanks - was just looking for election results. I love the fact that the Democrats think Hoekstra and Cassis are just peachy candidates. Too bad Hoekstra is winning, but I didn't vote for Durant either. The Saul Anuzis affiliation was enough for me.

Where is Brunner's strength? KC area, Northern Mo?

It seems the 65-35 margin is holding steady, plus some of those write-ins aren't even Nancy votes.

I don't know the newspapers all said it would take days........................................

Nope. These are the new numbers. The old numbers were 54-45% pro-Obama. This district is pretty pro-union according to my sources. McCotter was a strong advocate for the unions in congress which is how he won. If the GOP would just support Bentivolio, he can win tough.

Yah. The Republicans in this district are pretty moderate. Kerry definitely has his work cut out for him. Luckily his opponents don't look particularly strong.

i will be back in a couple hrs. Need to do something more productive than stare at a computer biting my nails.

ill go stare at my tv and bite my nails.

In my opinion in the Missouri Senate Race, if we have to lose...let it be to Sarah Steelman and NOT TODD AKIN!

I would rather give Senator Mike Lee (a close ally of Rand Paul and Steelman supporter) the win, rather than Rep. Michelle Bachmann (Akin supporter). I'm still holding out hope for Brunner though.

Chart update with more recent data.

This is a crooked election. Kerry Bentivolio will likely win but please look into what happened in the larger precincts.

What happened? Honestly I'm not seeing it...Nancy is only winning in her hometown.
