Is this map before or after redistricting? If its correct, whose running in 8th district. Do all registered voters get a sample ballot in the mail?

This was VERY helpful, thank you! I am State Assembly District #38 and just found out cd #27 is becoming cd #30.

Question -- I have 6 liberty candidates for district #38. Do I get to vote for them all, or do I pick one? If we can only pick one, how can we prevent our votes from being diluted by so many names!!!

Each district gets a certain number of positions. If there are 6 candidates running in 38 then that means you will get to vote for at least 6 candidates. It seems we are pretty organized so I doubt we would have gotten more people to run than there are positions available.

Choose Republican in the Sample Ballot drop down menu. When you see the ballot, go to the page that shows the Central Committee positions and it will tell you how many you can vote for.

That is before redistricting. Do not use that map. I don't think all registered voters get a sample ballot. What county are you in?

Yes, candidates for central committee. I have names for the following districts: 36, 38, 39, 41, 43, 45, 46, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 57, 58, 62, 63, 64, 66 and 70. Nobody for 27.

West Covina is in LA County. We need to know what exact Assembly District your family is in to be able to get them the right names.

You might be able to find your NEW Assembly District and a sample ballot here:

If not, call the County Clerk tomorrow and find out.

I got my CA sample ballot last week from Placer County and Ron Paul is on the top, the 2nd one down is Gingrich, and in the third spot is the guy who is still running, but needs to drop out.

That will give you the district they are in, but don't forget to ask for the RP names!
