This thread (and other Beck threads) is a comedy script, right?

I never made that claim. Glenn Beck still has incorrect stances on Foreign Policy, but he's improving compared to his past views. Yes, Glenn Beck still has a soft spot for Israel.Glenn Beck's "former" stance on FP and "national defense"? I guess you haven't listened to him in the last week or so. I have. I listen to him every day. If you think Glenn has abandoned his views on the "dire" threat Iran supposedly poses to the U.S. (Israel), you're fooling no one but yourself.

You're making yourself look foolish and quite a bit childish.
Ha. Beck really does have a hard-on for Israel.A soft spot is not a true hard-on, and Beck has a true hard-on for Israel (maybe viagra induced).
Hey, I added to the comedy script!![]()
Yes, in retrospect, more thought should have been put into the money bomb. Obviously the movie inspired the day and imagery, but once the day is chosen the media doesn't know whether the movement is referencing the movie itself or whether the movie inspired the Ron Paul movement to identify with the original Gun Powder plot. While I think it's dumb, it is totally plausible for a movie to inspire someone to research history and then relate to the history more than the movie while still retaining movie imagery (like loving HBO's Rome then researching and preferring the actual historical figures more than their HBO counterparts while retaining the HBO costumes). Since there's no way the media would ever be able to separate the movie-lovers from the history-lovers-inspired-by-the-movie, the Grassroots walked right into that one. Moreover, coining the event a "Money Bomb" to coincide with a Gun Powder plot probably made it extra confusing for some. Pair all that with the death threats Glenn Beck was getting and the round-the-clock security he had to hire to protect his family, and you've got a recipe for disaster, misunderstanding, over-sensitivity, and misrepresentation.Well, the media jumped on the Terrorist Guy Fawkes theme. The Ron Paul movement opened that door and the media had a field day with it.
What? You mean you're not feeling the Glenn Beck love yet?![]()
I'd support that, because it's also exhausting to have every thread that mentions Glenn Beck become over-taken by Beck-bashers who can't contribute anything of value besides "Buck Feck" or the more-longwinded equivalent involving phrases like "don't trust him," "remember medina," "tool of the establishment," etc. as if everyone in RPF hasn't heard that a trillion times already. It's obvious Glenn Beck's goal of becoming the "voice of the libertarians" is starting to work by the amount of threads he gets. As I suggested before, how about we get a Glenn Beck sub-forum so they can go worship Glenn Beck on their own.

Glenn Beck will quickly realize that libertarians will not only attack him, but they'll attack each other for not being "libertarian" enough. It's obvious Glenn Beck's goal of becoming the "voice of the libertarians" is starting to work by the amount of threads he gets. Yes, because reminding people of WHAT HE'S DONE in the past derails your vision of helping BECK become the "voice of the libertarians" right? I hear Glenn Beck has his own website if you REALLY want to go sing his praises. I bet you'd find a more friendly crowd there.
He really liked Ron Paul in 2008-2009 when Beck was trying to get a mantle as tea party/libertarian leader.
I wouldn't stake anything on GB.
How many of these retarded Beck threads a day are we going to have?
When he starts focusing on the few then the purists will know exactly how much Rand is like the old man.Beck said in his most recent O'Reilly interview that he's in the stage with Rand that he was with Christie; he loves a good deal of what he says and is currently ignoring the few things with which he disagrees. So, taken from that, Beck isn't exactly all on board with Rand, either.
Gee Frank, you seem awfully sympathetic to Glenn Beck. I guess that means you support kiling Iranian women and children, right?
