Bush gets shoes thrown at him during speech in Iraq

note the last thing uttered by the FOX News droid.. as if bringing up Saddam and insinuating that this reporter would have been punished severely if Saddam were still in power helps make it ok that we invaded their country on a pre-emptive strike. Ha. Saddam probably would have given the guy a palace for doing that to Bush.
 
If only he threw another.... Reptiles tire quickly after strenuous exertion, something to do with the way they break down the chemicals in their muscles.

So any more information about the guy who threw the shoes? I hope we don't illegally detain and torture him over throwing some foot wear.

Bush will finally be able to justify his war in Iraq because he found 2 weapons of mass destruction.
 
Too bad those shoes weren't hand grenades....then again it's probably for the better.

He got "Two shots off" lol and the president himself had to duck and cover himself.

Seriously though, that really isn't amazing quick action by the secret service at all. The president should know how many people fucking hate him around the world by now lol.
 
That reporter's shoe stunt was probably the only meaningful 'journalism' that happened at the staged press conference, which was otherwise just set up to be a parting photo-op for Bush.

Yeah that was this Bush and it happened in Kazakhstan. The grenade was a dud, the Bushy has had luck on his side. I've never got to see the footage of this incident.
 
I have seen two different video clips of this. One of them shows a guy hucking 2 shoes and the other just shows 1. Are these two different instances or just the same from different point of view?

On the BBC version is shows what Bush says after words. ...he like, "So what if a guy threw a shoe at me."
