I cant access the RT main web site at all it sure looks like either a dos attack or we may soon see a War soon and to make better worse YouTube blocked RT today for a few hours there are still some videos from RT that are missing.

Can anyone try and enter the RT site?

Not working for me. Weird that their youtube channel went down earlier as well.

If the US government were trying to shut down RT, I think they would use the FBI rather than hire a few 13-year-olds to DDOS attack their website.

Or it could be busy today. Since when does a news site being down mean a possible war?

The probably of both their main website, and their youtube being taken offline within such a short amount of time. Does not suggest technical difficulties.

Especially when we already know, that the U.S. Federal Government already illegally pursues cyber criminals, and advocates illegal shut downs internationally.

Apparently Alex Jones got suspended briefly too

EDIT: Nevermind, he was saying he could be next.

Not to stoke the paranoia, but we've got another carrier due to hit the ME in a few days I believe. Higher than usual probability of false flag op this week, IMHO.

The one thing that has taken my notice is the apparent desire to get one of these carriers sunk in the Gulf. They are floating these things past huge clusters of Silkworms practically begging to be shot at, all the while the political class is giving the diplomatic equivalent of the bird at the people whose hands are on the triggers. If you intended to lose one in order to justify a war, the one you'd choose to lose would be the oldest... that would be the Enterprise, currently under way to the region on its final voyage (it's scheduled to be scrapped next time it hits port, anyway).

Strange since their YT was taken down briefly, but I won't say much further before I'm accused of being a coincidence theorist.

Could be just coincidence. RT is a wealthy news corporation. Chances are they're investigating.

Hehe. Is there nothing which can happen which can't be turned into an end of the world omen?

Sad:

Watching Ron Paul "liberty" / "small government" supporters upset that the government-run propaganda arm of Russia is temporary down for maintenance (or something).

I have no Idea why a news service is off line, Could be hacked, or DDOS or blocked. It is not one I regularly follow, though I have appreciated some of their stories.

I am curious at the response of some.

Just how would we know if WWIII kicked off? I mean,we would know eventually,, but what would be the first clues?

Considering the likely hood of Russia siding with Iran,, Communications being blocked would be one possible clue.

I mean it is not likely we will hear the blasts or see the smoke rising from crashed aircraft and ships.
I really doubt that the US news service will report anything till they are told what to report.

The USS Enterprise thing is interesting. The timing of deploying the oldest US vessel (and the one that will be the hardest to disassemble, due to it being the first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier to be disassembled) in an area that includes Iran so soon after Israel is working out when to attack Iran can't be coincidence.

I fail to recognize the point of your comment. Are you suggesting we should be happy about the potential loss of another viewpoint?

Sad.

Watching Ron Paul "liberty" / "small government" supporters easily slap the "government-run propaganda" label on everything

Russia Today is a propoganda channel paid for and run by Russia. The point is that some are lamenting the inaccesability of a propaganda source for a country which definately is not interested in liberty and freedoms.

RT started broadcasting on 10 December 2005 with nearly 100 English-speaking journalists reporting for it worldwide.[5][6] It was the first all-digital Russian TV network,[7] and cost about $30 million in 2005 to set up and $60 million for its first year of operation.[5] Margarita Simonyan, RT's editor-in-chief, has said the station was born out of the desire to present an "unbiased portrait of Russia."[7]

The network was launched by the government-owned[8] news agency ANO TV-Novosti in 2005, and much of the funding to this organization is injected from the Russian Federal Budget (2.4 billion rubles in 2007).[9][10] This is equivalent to 82.56 million August 8, 2011 U.S. dollars.

They would be the same function as Voice of America.

Generally my view too... I hear they have ties to Putin. But it's good to get RT's perspective sometimes too.

What about Al Jazeera?

Only news source I trust most is the Guardian.

Do you really think any of that is unknown?
Do you think it is relevant?

Is it somehow inferior to the controlled media here?
Faux, CNN ABC,NBC etc. are all a bunch of lying propagandists.
All connected and interconnected with the MIC and Other Globalist interests.

And RT has covered several stories that US media won't.
The Cold War is over.
