BREAKING NEWS!! Revolution PAC releases "The Compassion of Dr. Ron Paul"

I've been saying for a good long time now that we need pathos to go with our logos, and this is just what the Dr. ordered...

The majority of people vote emotionally. This is a home run.

:) Glad you guys like it, we were working on this over Xmas.

We're working on both a :60 and a :30 cut for broadcast. Obviously want to use the :60 but it's 2x the cost to air.

Hey, there's this great candidate for State Senate in NC in a tough primary I'd like to tell you guys about... :p

I didn't think Rev Pac had it in 'em to do something this amazing. Seriously, this ad is perfect.

Tearing up is a strength.
It's the weak that build a wall around their heart, too afraid to feel.
Funny, isn't it? How this bizarro world always tries to make it out to be some sort of weakness?
Down is up. Up is down.

This is such a wonderful ad.
Like someone else said, made me love Dr. Paul even more.

kinda tough to tell this story in 30 no?....i really think the grassroots will respond bigtime to this...especially after iowa win.

go for :60!.....if we fund this, its game over!

I have no sound on my computer. Can someone sum up the ad for me real quick?

edit: never mind. i just read the description on youtube.

I have no sound on my computer. Can someone sum up the ad for me real quick?

The ad is centered around a man James, a black man, who is telling a story about when he took his wife, a white woman, to a hospital in the early 70s. He says they were being ignored by nurses and doctors despite his pleas for help, which he attributes to racism against interracial couples at the time.

Dr. Ron Paul "came to his rescue" and tended to his wife. After 10 min, she gave birth to a stillborn baby boy. Ron Paul told James not to worry about a bill, and that he would take care of it for him. He kept his promise, and James never got a bill from the hospital.

James goes on to talk about how Ron is a principled, honest man, and he is what America needs.

This ad combats the racist charge, and the Adherence to the Oath ad refutes the soft on defense claim. Next we need an ad that explains how RP is going to help the poor, middle class, and elderly. That will be a lot harder because the lower classes are getting robbed by stealth (Federal Reserve sponsored bailouts, inflation, cooked inflation statistics, excessive gov't spending, etc.).
