Americans are sick of this issue. America has been talking about it for decades and refuse to get real about it.
Ron Paul needs a little populism in his campaign and the ideal place for him to take it on is with the southern border.
Who you going to trust to close the border so we're not talking about it AGAIN in 4 years? The ideologically consistent, say what he means, means what he says Ron Paul? Or the flip flopping globalist-corporatists, New and Romney?
If Ron Paul can make the borders an issue (which is always on everybody's mind) he'll dominate. Americans want this settled already! They've wanted it settled for a long time! They're sick of empty border promises and to be perfectly honest it pisses a lot of people off.
Convince the public that Ron Paul will secure the damn border and not just pay it lip service and he'll get a swell of support. Millions of people will vote for him, if for nothing else, just to finally settle this issue.
