Booing is NOT disrespectful

I thought there was a rule at most state conventions against using a speaking slot to endorse a particular candidate for any of the offices up for election. I thought this is what annoyed the Ron Paul delagtes. The Governor or Senator in question was not supposed to attempt to influence the outcome of any voting. Josh Romney, on the other hand, was entitled to advocate a vote for his father.

Open to correction.

You are correct. When Romney's son started campaigning for a slate (list of delegates) he was "out of order." The people falling for booing gate are weak and/or not here to support the cause of liberty. IMO

First time I've ever heard manners equated with being politically correct...

I've always drawn the distinction that manners are how you behave and political correctness was what you say..?

I think "booing" is speach? Considering it manners is to deflect.

Is it manners to send America's men and women to war based on lies?

Absolutely not! In fact I believe it to be criminal to send soldiers off to fight in undeclared wars!

Is it manners when hudreds of thousands of innocents die because of lies?

Which lies? Our politicians have foisted legislation on the population that causes thousands of innocents to be maimed and die right here on our own soil.

Is it manners when the liberties fought and won with the blood of generations of great patriots is stolen before our eyes?

No! It's trickery and deceit one little piece of legislation at a time.

Are lives and liberty are at risk.

Of course they are! They have been for generations, big difference now is Ron Paul is running for president and trying to correct some of the wrongs.

We are in danger! And you talk about manners?

I simply stated that I draw a distinction between manners and political correctness...
Assuming that a polite person will not fight or lead a cause kind of flies in the face of the good Dr's behavior doesn't it?

I'm not trying to "deflect"......I gathered that Ron Paul believed the MSM about Romney's son.

The MSM painted the picture that he was booed for getting on the stage instead of telling the truth, that he was booed for what he said, his actions, promoting a slate against the rules.

Those of us who watched the stream know the booing was appropriate, those who gather information from the MSM would believe it was inappropriate.

Ron's 20yrs my senior, same age as my folks so I like to think I can relate to what would be considered disrespectful by people of his generation...

Anyway......I wasn't trying to stir the pot....just expressing an opinion and ya` know what they say about opinions.....

Booing is disrespectful. It is also unnecessary and counter-productive. You don't have to applaud a speech you disagree with, but sit quietly and respectfully. Other people there may want to hear what the speaker is saying. You get more flies with honey than vinegar.

I'm not always down with booing a person, but I think it has its time and place. However, sitting quietly and respectfully when someone in power is itching to send more people off to kill and be killed because he'll get paid by Boeing, GE or Northrup Grumman and expects us to pay for it? No effing way I'll respect that load of crap. It's more appropriate to completely oust such people from society for being the scum that they are.

Yes, by all means, I'll take a nap while I'm at it.

I'd like to respecfully tar-and-feather these clowns just as our forefathers did. I wouldn't want to be disrespectful by booing.

Here's an idea I can get behind!

Much more effective than a bunch of booing.

Huzzah!

If I had my way, these murderous lying sluts would not be able to show their faces in public anywhere, anytime, for anything without being run off and badgered.

Paul himself will be calling for "Republican Unity" when he speaks at upcoming state conventions. So ... Are people going to boo him?

word!

sometimes people need a lil bit of instant feedback, and when they go on with their statist bullshit we need to let them know we don't like it!!!!!!!!!
