Why is so much attention focused on "being respectful"? At almost every convention, establishment Republicans have given disrespect a new meaning. Hiding votes, handing out fake slates, adjourning the meeting early, starting fights, on and on. Booing is not disrespectful, booing is a civilized way for a group of people to show discontent for a person or idea. At the national convention, while every handpicked speaker is up on stage loving up Romney, should RP delegates sit down and close their mouths? This is a Party, not a lecture. This is where we fight for our candidate. This is when we decide the direction of our country for decades to come both domestically and internationally.

To be fair booing and heckling are part of the Parliamentary process. I am from the UK, our Parliament is a regular boofest!

But I do think that speaking softly and being correct gives you far more power than being rowdy to be honest.

Actually, at the conventions, we boo'd during speeches from Ron Paul himself, which was done to indicate our agreement that things like the Federal Reserve were bad. Which really leads me to wonder why dont Romney supporters have as much disdain for the Fed as we do...

Booing at the wrong time can be disrespectful in my opinion. But that's just me.

There's lots of things said during political events that warrant booing, maybe even rotten fruit...but again it's subjective.

According to a lot of radio talk show hosts especially Dom Giordano (WPHT 1210 Philly) it's not rude when Mitt Romey supporters booo Ron Paul when he wins the CPAC convention, but it is rude for Ron Paul supporters to boo Donald Trump when he says Ron Paul can't win. Funny how things turn out ehy? The Donald is way long gone and Ron Paul the last man standing after Trump was touted, then Pawlenty, then Bachmann, then Perry, then Cain, then Gingrich, then Santorum. ALL of them gone. Losers.

Ron Paul remains.

I thought there was a rule at most state conventions against using a speaking slot to endorse a particular candidate for any of the offices up for election. I thought this is what annoyed the Ron Paul delagtes. The Governor or Senator in question was not supposed to attempt to influence the outcome of any voting. Josh Romney, on the other hand, was entitled to advocate a vote for his father.

Is it manners to send America's men and women to war based on lies? Is it manners when hudreds of thousands of innocents die because of lies? Is it manners when the liberties fought and won with the blood of generations of great patriots is stolen before our eyes?

We are in danger. Are liberty and lives are at risk. And you talk about manners.
