Bob Smith: Conservative candidate for Florida Senate

I like this Candidate,he is against amnesty,UN,Federal dept. of education, NAFTA,GATT, WTO, Large federal gov,IRS,corporate Welfare, subsidies to foreign shores to our farm belt.
He is pro less gov, less taxation, small business,our Constitution.
How do I know this? I researched his past voting history..Actions speak volumes, don't accept anything less.
Unlike both Crist and Rubio he has a strong voting history as first a Congressman then as a Senator. Because of this he would enter as a high ranking Senior Senator where both Rubio and Crist would be bottomline Junior ranking Senators.

Senator Smith represented the First District in New Hampshire as a Congressman from 1985 to 1990. He was on the Veterans Affairs and Science and Technology Committees while in the House. Bob then served as a U.S. Senator from 1991 to 2003. While in the Senate Bob was Chairman for the Environmental and Public Works Committee from 1999 to 2001 and then ranking member from 2001 to 2003. He was Ethics Committee Chairman and served on the Armed Services Committee as Chairman of the Acquisition and Technology subcommittee and Strategic Forces Committee.
He just started his website and is adding to currently. He just went official from exploratory to Full blown Candidate!

Rubio was a last minute no show at a 3 mth scheduled debate for over 200 people!
I Just heard on 970 WFLA: Jack Harris and Ted Web interviewed Former US Senator Bob Smith regarding the scheduled debate last night between Marco Rubio and Bob Smith. Apparently, there was no debate. Bob Smith was in the standing- room-only Legion Hall waiting for Marco Rubio to arrive. When Rubio did show, he waited in the parking lot, sending in an aide with a message that; Rubio wanted to be the first to speak and then be allowed to leave without Q & A and without participation in the scheduled debate with Bob Smith. Of course Bob Smith did not concede to this last minute change of plans. As a result, Marco Rubio and his aide left without addressing anyone.
970 WFLA's producers tried to reach Marco Rubio's office for comment but no one was available to speak regarding the debate.
Here was Bob Smith's final point regarding the debate debacle on this mornings show: If Marco Rubio does not have the fortitude to debate opposition locally, how in the world will he be able to stand his ground against a democratic majority lead Senate.
