I agree. Bob Barr, being a libertarian, is very close to Ron Paul 's philosophy...and it would just be more practical to support the Libertarian Party. We NEED a good strong third party to compete with the two major corrupt parties..and take their power! If the libertarian party became strong..I bet Ron Paul would go there! The main stream media already has Bob Barr all over the place!

I thought Bob Barr did a good job in the Glenn Beck interview. I fully agree with the position Steve Dasbach put forth earlier in this thread. My wife watched the interview and became so excited about supporting Barr that I was shocked. While my first choice is still Ron Paul (her's too), it is good to see that there may still be someone on the ballot in November that stands for many of the same things as Dr. Paul. BTW, I admire much about Chuck Baldwin and have not ruled out voting for him but at this point it appears that Rep. Barr will get far more media coverage, ballot access and votes than Dr. Baldwin.

Yes..I am also seeing a lot of people becoming excited about Bob Barr! BOB BARR 2008! I want to see the Libertarian Party reallly take off this year..and I believe it will happen!

+1. We are organizing the ron paul meet-ups to help with barr. At least about 85% of the meet-up groups that were headed up by libertarians.
This is not to exclude CP people because we are also helping one of their congressional candidates in Monroe. In fact the LALP chairman is helping a CP candidate by handing out lit. We are forming a nice coalition.
