Bloomberg: Today Romney Lost the Election

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-09-17/today-mitt-romney-lost-the-election.html

You can mark my prediction now: A secret recording from a closed-door Mitt Romney fundraiser, released today by David Corn at Mother Jones, has killed Mitt Romney's campaign for president.

VIDEOS w/article by New York Times:

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/09/17/romney-faults-those-dependent-on-government/

ADD: Pundits basically declaring Romney's campaign dead BEFORE the videos: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/17/mitt-romney-campaign_n_1891606.html. Politico piece about Romney's campaign infighting: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0912/81280.html

Seriously, this couldn't hurt our write-in campaign!

Yeah, sure.

This will get him votes, not lose votes. 80% of American voters think half of American voters are freeloaders.

What's funny is that liberals think those comments by Romney are negatives. I loathed Romney but now like him a little better for admitting that half the population is looting this country and are incentivized to vote for Obama. Those comments are only negatives to the mooches. I still would never vote for him though.

Romney is out of touch and out of his mind to write off 47% of voters, if that is what he is really doing. He must be preparing his base for a loss and trying to blame deadbeats for it rather than admit this is all a show and he is taking a dive on purpose. Does he realize that if 47% are already for Obama that he would have to get over 7% of that 10% of undecideds to win? If that is true, he has no chance really, he won't get 70+% of undecideds.

article said:
On the tape, Romney explains that his electoral strategy involves writing off nearly half the country as unmoveable Obama voters. As Romney explains, 47 percent of Americans "believe that they are victims." He laments: "I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

I don't see how this particular quote will "kill" his campaign...did he say something that wasn't true? I think most Americans already know this.

He said, in a nutshell, that half of Americans are lazy, worthless parasites. That will not blow over any time soon and he is going to get hammered at the debates.

True, he solidified Obama's base and pissed of poor Republicans who can't find a job that planned on voting for him. I wonder if this will cost him Mississippi?

That sounds about right, he's just as the top of the parasite totem pole, lambasting those on the bottom of that totem pole.

Last I checked, the American system isn't a popular referendum. You could win with ~20% of the vote.

There's people who think that Ron is going to win the Presidency through a write in vote? Is this for real?
