I can understand delays and I understand it is a big endeavor to put together in such a short time but transparency and honesty would be welcome by all. They keep delaying day by day instead of fessing up with some truth.

I'm going to ignore this for now and concentrate on Ron Paul's debate tomorrow and the tea party this weekend. I'm not going to allow the blimp company to take away from that.

Well when the blimp team tells me (and whoever else visits the site) that if they obtain $200,000 by Friday midnight they will be able to launch on December 10th, I hardly describe my questioning of this failed deadline to be narrow minded. Besides, I never said everyone gave for the similar reason I did.
Narrow minded may however by used to describe your attempt to tell me what "right" I have to question a company in which I paid for a service on a specific date, and then that service not being provided.
If we really want to get into finickey and narrow minded actions, we can talk about thisdecember16th.com, but we don't have to go there.
Seeing as how the donations "spiked" on Wednesday and Thursday of last week, I don't see it as a huge reach to determine that people gave to meet the Friday midnight deadline, thus ensuring a Dec 10th launch as promised...

I agree with you. I'm into this project with four and a half hours of time purchased. The fact is... their not going anywhere. Their trying to get the blimp flying ASAP. That makes me feel good! I'm all onboard! There's bumps in the road but everyone is working 24/7 on making this happen! Just let them do their work and get it done.
Let's not micro-manage from the sidelines. I'd hate to work in that environment. Think about it.

I don't blame him. I wouldn't reply to a thread full of angry people who still believe that he had control over the banner deliveries. Get a grip people. They can only do so much, the rest is up to the weather and to the delivery trucks.

It is not about the delay it is about the lack of honesty...I just don't buy that story about the delivery...heck I am sure we could find someone to drive the banner from Boston to NC in their own car, it's not that far. I am private pilot I'll fly the damn thing in my plane if necessary.....they had to know before that they were not going to be able to launch but they didn't tell us. The lack of honesty and transparency is the problem here much more so than the delays. I haven't trusted Trevor from a while back and now I certainly don't trust him.

It doesn't take any effort at all to say that the banners aren't sewn yet, instead of saying they weren't shipped. That doesn't require any effort, and from my point of view is a simple duty. I'm not even sure it takes a plane to ship from MA as the original post said. I thought some of the other people were saying it was shipping from CA.
Regardless, I think this should be taken to private messages and we should concentrate on the things we need to do this week.

Security delays? What are you talking about? Since when do you need four weeks notice to ship cargo on a plane? That is incredibly absurd. What company was it going to be shipped with? The picture was taken today...the details of the picture were presented by another poster....beyond that there are a bunch of other discrepancies in what they have said and are now saying that just don't add up.
