Why Blimp is on December 16th only? It's a month long campaign. The domain name is misleading.

several people have asked you to explain this statement, now posted again on the blog:

"The banner company tried to ship the first banner on a plane but ended up needing 4 weeks notice (for security) for a cargo shipment so it is travelling to the blimp UPS and..."

again, why does it take a month notice for "security" to get something flown across a few states?

and once again, I believe this is the TWELFTH REQUEST, could you put the background research on renting a blimp back up that suddenly disappeared when this fiasco went commercial, along with a lot of the other original info.

Domain name

This domain name used to be something else hosted by another forum member. I'm guessing that forum member has set up a blog on that server and simply provided it to Liberty Advertising. I don't remember which forum member had that website, but it was something to do with the Tea Party.

Some suggestions for the blog

1) Eventually, a better URL (I think you can just go to blogger.com and set up a blog with xxxxxxxxxxx.blogspot.com, but whatever. On Dec 17th, what happens then.

2) Need hyperlinks back and forth between ronpaulblimp.com and the blog. Then you can clean up the info on the main website and just refer people to the blog for details.

3) Can we get a video of the banner being applied? Interviews with the owner of the company and the workers putting on the banner?

Video is SO MUCH BETTER than stills, and then it can go you-tube, and this would be picked up by a lot of papers. Don't need a videographer. Just simple videos done by local staff. I would love to see a short interview with the blimp company owner, for example. News outlets love human interest stuff. I'm sure some of the local RP supporters can do this for you and get the videos up on YouTube.

4) Can you get someone to help with the website? Get rid of the "Love Revolution" thing - which will be picked up the media once the fuss starts anew- and this will hurt the blimp campaign - make us all look like old hippies.

The domain was mine. I called Mckarnin last night and offered it as a central location for her to distribute information since she was having trouble getting to all of it on the forum and the web team behind the blimp site was MIA.

Ironically, this is the domain that I fought with Trevor about for a week. It'll be at a better domain in the future I understand.

I don't have the programming skills to add stuff to the main site. My information about the shipping delays came from the blimp owner. The banner that was delayed got there this AM and is going on the blimp so I don't plan to research it further. The owner has been very helpful, understanding and flexible throughout this process.
