Bill O'Reilly slams Rand Paul for 'naive' foreign policy, measles stance

The O’Reilly Factor on Fox News was the highest-rated show across all of cable news Tuesday night with 625K viewers in 25-54 demo and 3.206M total viewers.

Meh. Cable news shows as a whole are steadily in decline. Nobody watches that stuff anymore. Well..I guess that some do. They're outnumbered on the real information highway, though, and to continue to use that dwindling demographic as some sort of legitimate benchmark as far as news seekers as a whole is laughable at best.

I don't think I've ever heard Bill or any of them, really, actually discuss foreign policy in any elevated way. We get terrorvision 24/7. Nothing else.

Heck, more people get their news and information from Youtube than these shows. RT, for example, is the first and only news channel to break the 3 billion YouTube views benchmark while continuing to build on its global reach of over 630 million people, or over 25% of all cable subscribers worldwide.

And then there are others. Heh. Here is how much I care about what Bill thinks. I didn't even read the op. All I read was the thread title. :)

You just summed up what O'Rielly said on his show last night but he says those people that do so are fools that are allowing themselves to be duped by propaganda. Depending on the source I would agree but I think we are supposed to take from it that he and FNC is the only source of truth. Yeah the anti-intellectual discussion network that refuses to allow an open discussion on FP but rather have their anchors always play indignant to a single ideological view on the topic.

The dreaded internet news is a common complaint of his. When he goes on that rant I wonder if this is going to be the episode where he takes that beef to the next level.

lolz, does anyone actually care what this clown says? he is a hack with below average intelligence.

Well, he was once a teacher in the gubmint schools, so draw your own conclusions

ON EDIT:

Oh Man, I almost didn't click on this video (having had already seen quite enough of Mr. Bill for one lifetime) but I'm sure glad I did!

PURE COMEDY GOLD

The ironic thing about Bill O'Reilly criticizing Rand for "not having a strategy to defeat ISIS" is that O'Reilly has actually called for declaring war against ISIS, and Rand proposed a declaration of war against ISIS in the Senate.

I watched this show and Madea Benjamin of Code Pink did a great job in shutting down OReilly. I wish somebody would post her part.

Yep, Rand should 100% ignore him throughout the entire primary process.

There's nothing to be gained by interacting with that creature.

Nothing to be gained? Free airtime in front of 3 million viewers that are more likely to vote in the Republican primaries/caucuses is nothing? I mean, it is nothing if you aren't prepared, but 3 million viewers with the potential of getting SOME of them to vote for you, while many of them right now probably won't simply because they are sheep?

The same 3 million probably watch Greta's show and Hannity's show, and Rand makes a lot of appearances on those shows.

Hannity and Greta lose viewers, Bill has the most. Plus, if you're invited on the biggest "news" program, why not make it a regular thing, like Hannity and Greta?

Here's a Madea Benjamin interview:

Because O'Reilly would just talk over him and not even give him a chance to respond. Hannity and Greta at least let him talk.

Rand needs to simply be prepared, and shush Bill like he did the CNBC host if necessary. As the video I linked above shows, a Code Pink woman on his program I thought presented her side very well in the format given. I would think Rand could do the same?
