Washington (CNN)Add Fox News host Bill O'Reilly to the list of those critical of Sen. Rand Paul.

O'Reilly joined the chorus of voices slamming the Republican from Kentucky on Tuesday for his comments that vaccines should not be mandatory and took the chance to take another swipe at the libertarian-leaning senator's foreign policy, calling him "perhaps the most controversial candidate in the race."

"That's not unusual for me disagreeing with Mr. Paul," O'Reilly said.

The conservative host also called Paul's stance on terrorism and Iran "naïve," reprising previous comments that Paul's foreign policy views would hurt him in an eventual GOP primary.

Paul opposes the GOP-led effort to impose additional sanctions on Iran in an attempt to pressure the Iranians to give up their nuclear program.

"Sen. Paul loses traction because he has no plan to defeat the jihad and he comes across, maybe he's not that way, it comes across as kind of let them do what they want to do as long as they're not in the U.S.A.," O'Reilly said Tuesday.

I hope Rand never goes on the show. There's no reason to help his ratings.

O'really's job is to make it look like you are a nut if you question the "settled" arguments that he espouses, all the while not having any reasonable basis for any of it.

lolz, does anyone actually care what this clown says? he is a hack with below average intelligence.

The O’Reilly Factor on Fox News was the highest-rated show across all of cable news Tuesday night with 625K viewers in 25-54 demo and 3.206M total viewers.

He has the highest rated news show on all of cable and there seems to be allot of people that believe whatever is on FNC is gospel. At the very least they take the negative hit pieces and name dropping in a negative light as a consensus that Republicans think Rand is unelectable. He drops Rands name in a negative fashion it seems every time I tune in while effectively campaigning for Jeb.

It seems so obvious that I am hoping the average folk have seen enough of this behavior at this point will not take him as seriously as they did in the past. Yet this kind of bar room presentation he gave last night seems to go over well with allot of people.

This was a rather long 30 minute hit piece on Rand last night to the point it got really bizarre with him making the babbling expression with his finger against his lips. The date of one the interviews he played attacking Rand was 2 years ago which was odd. Rand said something to the effect that we should not announce our intentions to Iran in advance is not any different from what Neocons have said about Democrats making that mistake.

So his attack on Rand lacked substance but maybe facts do not matter since they know their propaganda will work on much of their viewer base going by the anchors inflection alone in considering whether a candidate is electable.

Excellent --and his type outnumber us here by 100s to 1

Who is this The Collins guy?

Beat me to it, I should have refreshed. He also made the point that Rand/Ron have the support of the younger folks which seems as a suggestion to older viewers that there must be something wrong with you at your age if you support these guys.

They should rename the show the Jeb Bush 2016 Factor or the Anti-Rand Factor, with Bill O'Rielly at this point.

Good point

O'Brother has always, without fail either taken a full out Liberal view on an issue or is constantly shifting the dialogue to the left. Always. Rand is an actual Conservative Libertarian and O'Reilly is shilling the Jebster so expect plenty more, along with a rehash of "Jeb is the only one electable!" screams on Fox BS Channel.

O'Reilly is compromised. He knows what is going on. Let's be serious here.

You have to admit, the media is doing a great job "normalizing" the argument that everybody should be forced to receive vaccines.

Yup, creating a world where being manhandled by cops onto a stretcher and being jabbed with drugs against your will is accepted, normal and indicates "freedom".

And the great unwashed horde of Boobus will be encouraged to "turn in" the "non compliants".

AmeriKa!

I look forward to the day when it will be considered more controversial by the media for a politician to advocate invading a country that never attacked us than for a politician to say that parents should get to decide whether their own children are vaccinated or not.

I think we may be seeing only a small foreshadowing of the power of the media. I would not be surprised if Rand decides not to run for POTUS. Then look for him to become an independent.
