Big Question: What Will Ron Paul Say on the Jay Leno Show?

I think they'll discuss what happened at the RNC. I wish I had a DVD burner, because I would have downloaded Ben Swann's video and sent it overnight to Jay Leno. It's the best description of what happened.

Yeah, he won't just sit there and keep his mouth shut, but will there be a major announcement? Who knows, but I'm not expecting much.

Ron Paul is there IMO to promote something as everyone who goes on that show does. What will he be promoting? Will this promotion be the "major announcement" some are spreading such as a third party run? I highly doubt that but it would be awesome if true just to see the look on Romney's face and the tyrannical RNC faces.

The question is - After the primary and Paul Fest, why head to CA to go on the Leno show? What's the urgency?

It would be awesome and id love to see the reaction on Romney's face if Leno asks will you run 3rd party now that Mitt is the nominee and Ron replies "I have every intention too, that's why im here."

if that happens, i will waterboard myself.

I'd guess nothing will happen and Ron has no idea about any kind of announcement.

Well he must have some purpose for this, after all the convention is now over...what would compel Paul to do this I wonder? I think we can rule out a third party run, it is WAY WAY too late to file in most places. An endorsement of Gary Johnson is possible, more likely then a 3rd party run but still unlikely imo.

I would love to hear that he is moving to New Hampshire and explains what the free state project is. That could add a ton of people to pledge and move.

or

Email it to a SoCal RP supporter, that will be there, who can then burn it and 'Sneaker Net' it to Jay Leno's production outfit at NBC Studios, 3000 West Almeda Ave in Burbank, California 91523.

This is Eff'ed up. DishTV has been blocked from showing local NBC (which would show Tonight Show Jay Leno) WTHR Indianapolis, DishTV says it's "Dispatch Broadcast Group blackout"

Any online streaming links? (If not, hope they get it straighted out by tomorrow night)

Wow, that's steams rough. Big ole ad right in the middle, liked to have never got rid of it, clicked on the 'X' and it took me to a site, had to close, that then click a smaller 'x', wow, really?, get out of my face!

edit: but maybe I could watch it there tomorrow or if blackout is over.

Not sure if this will be better.

password is password

edit: doesn't seem to have it.

I don't think he'll be on MSNBC...at least not on DishTV msnbc
I'll try the first link you gave tomorrow if Dish and that Dispatcher haven't worked out their problem by then
We don't really ever watch TV, but we have Dish (currently) in case we want to (well, I want to get rid of it, but my vote is pretty small on such issues around here). I didn't know that WTHR was blocked, didn't used to be.

ughh, since the '08 campaign there have been dozens of so-called future "game changer" events that RP supporters have pumped. Every single one has fizzled. The large money bombs were the biggest deal, however all that money never exactly changed the game to the extent many speculated.

While I think there were some great opportunities for Dr Paul and the campaign to drop some metaphorical nuclear bombs, for whatever reason they just wouldn't these types of things.

I've accepted RP's POTUS campaigns for what they are: a long-slog educational movement. While that has decent value, it's definitely less than what I personally hoped for. I wouldn't have given the large amount of money that I did to the campaign had I known this. Yeah, I'm a little bitter. I'd have been fine if they threw some hail mary's and missed, but the lack of trying is disheartening.

the campaign never even said this was an announcement. That was Matt Collins.
