That title is perfectly factual, as far as it goes. But then, so is each of the following:
Iran Possibly Closer to Curing Cancer
Iran Possibly Closer to Uruguay than Afghanistan [1]
Iran Possibly Closer to Discovering Fabled Lost Valley of Living Dinosaurs
The waffle-word "possibly" does most of the heavy lifting, of course. But "closer" puts in some work, too: "closer" compared to what, exactly? And even when the object of comparison is explicitly identified - as it is in the second example above - the statement can still be misleadingly ambiguous (e.g., see footnote
