I stopped watching TV over a decade ago and it made all the difference in the world in how I live my life.

Today, when I am forced to watch other peoples TV, I realize why our country is so f#$k#d up, it's just such obvious brainwashing.

And to think it really all started in the 1950's, the decade that the MIC really took a hold in the USA.

Kill your television.

I didn't exactly kill my television, but I did move it, my xbox and my HTPC downstairs out of my bedroom. It really does make a difference. I am doing better in school, more focused, working out, reading.

I stopped watching TV over 20 years ago. It is like I live in a completely different reality from people who still watch it. On the rare occasion I do see a television on, it's fascinating how blatant the mind control techniques are.

I'm over 10 years TV free at home as well. Saw Fox the other day waiting for my rig to have some work done, wow... Propaganda.

For all of those pissed off about the MSM blackout, manipulation etc. Just stop watching TV and they become irrelevant because no one watching = no need for companies to advertise = they go out of business.

Then take your money out of their "too big to fail" banks and quit playing their game.

I only have a tv in my living room so there's something to point the furniture at.

I only watch movies on my tv, mainly John Wayne movies (I have over 120 JW movies) and other classics....no cable/dish/antenna.

i stopped watching tv mostly.. all its ever good for anymore is just the weather channel.

Any actual tv shows/movies that I watch, I simply watch on my computer via some manner. I do like to play video games so I have a tv for my xbox and such. I don't have Satellite/cable or anything like that. When I play video games I listen to episodes of the Peter Schiff show, various mises.org lectures, or something like that.

I stopped watching television back in the mid eighties, although now I do catch some shows on Hulu.....only TV news I catch has been clips here and there.

When I was a child, for a few years, we didn't have a television (lived in an area with no reception); I noticed the difference it made, early on. Never really owned a television, as an adult.

When I was younger, I had roommates who had televisions, but I usually asked them to keep them out of the common areas. Still, it's amazing how much of it is inescapable.

I'll admit to watching the odd episode of this or that, on the internet, or in a hotel, or at the homes of friends and family. I even enjoy the odd series, but they're usually the ones that were canceled after the first few episodes.

If the world of television had to rely on me or people like me, it would be vastly different or nonexistent.

Yes, KILL IT, myself and my wife are plotting,

however,

for the moment, we're sharing the cable bill with my mother-in-law who enjoys the ooze. She's retired and on a budget of course so we help her with it.

We have absolutely no use for it ourselves.

I hardly ever watch TV besides like the history channel every now and then and just these days the news for election coverage, but really people who work all day and sit and watch the news and reality tv are really hurting themselves unless they're fully aware of propaganda. I almost pity people who trust what they hear and read but you know you sometimes can't blame them, when you gotta work so many hours just to put food on the table let alone have disposable income, you really can't get so deep into politics and philosophy and economics. The system whether advertently or inadvertently enslaved people.
