Best place to get torrents?

No. I own the domain and will be launching a rival torrent service shortly. Everyone will get invites, bar those who don't know what an "idea" is, let alone know how to define it...
 
Nah, it was lame... just like your attempts at avoiding the terrible task of giving a definition. Which would result in the destruction of your argument.

Not that I advocate doing anything illegal :rolleyes: but I am surprised people are still doing all the "sharing" on the pirate bay still as the owners have been convicted and the site is transferring ownership.

It depends what you're looking for. There's a lot of little torrent sites that are themed for specific content, and those are usually the best if you're looking for something obscure.

For an overall torrent site, demonoid is easily the best I've seen. Over 13 million active torrents and they have the best search engine. Zero trojans/viruses/spyware/malware, and zero porn.

Piratebay is pretty good too, but their search engine bugs the hell out of me sometimes. We'll see how it goes under new ownership.

Another good all-around site is mininova.
 
Using torrents for years and I got pinged by my ISP about downloading copyrighted material and to cease and desist. I had Peer Guardian 2 also which kinda helps, But you are better off using RapidShare as its a direct download and harder to trace. It does cost money however - $50 year for 25GB a day download and downloads are fast...

There are other direct downloaders out there besides RapidShare but I don't know many.

he's saying, because I can't define what an idea is, I can't argue whether intellectual property or copyright is justifiable.

now, i might not know the exact definition in the dictionary, but I know enough to say what something IS or ISNOT an idea.

I don't disagree ideas, like information, can be copied indefinitely.
Doesn't change the fact many kinds of information are highly unique, and valuable in certain context or time.
