If Ben Swann is saying that he has the new numbers and that we could have a new winner on Saturday, why does everybody think that Romney will get a boost in votes. From the way he worded it, it sounds like Ron got the boost and only he would know that because he has the new numbers. The question is, how did he get them so early?

An investigative journalist would contact people in the "missing" caucuses and ask them for the numbers is my guess

If somehow the "revised" straw poll numbers go our way and Ron Paul Wins, then it is perfect timing to end the NOPB Money Bomb and start a brand new one: "The Maine Victory Money Bomb" The Official Campaign needs to be ready to jump on this fast!!!

We need something new if and I say if it happens, because the NOPB Money Bomb has run its course and frankly has had underwhelming results.

If I may add.. Many were disappointed that Paul 'lost' Maine, which may have made some not want to donate. I am just glad that we crossed 1 million, I had had a feeling that the campaign was running on little to nothing.

I assumed this. I think with the revised totals, we edge closer to Romney, but its going to be the caucuses that were rescheduled to this weekend that will put us over the top.

I agree with this, Washington County will be good for us.

I just hope the people in Washington Co really understand it's down to establishment vs the people. I hope they understand that it's not about Santorum or Gingrich (if that is who they support) because they are 1000+ votes down. I hope they understand to stop the Romney train they MUST vote for Ron Paul!!

Demographically, Washington county is
-slightly older than most of maine (bad)
-they're are slightly more women than men (not really statistically significant)
-relatively poor (good, no wealthy 'burbs for mittens)

We beat mitt by 50 votes in Waldo and 16 in Waterville according to swann
