Thats a myth. Libertarians dont vote for the Republican or Democrat party. They dont slump to that level.

I just had a bizarre thought. This is totally game theory type politics strategy stuff. What if RP hypothetically endorsed Obama and all of the Revolution followed suit and voted for him? And exit polled as RP supporters who voted for Obama? Wouldn't this actually Double the penalty to the Republican Party and create an even more powerful incentive for them to substantially change their platform in 2010 and 2012? In other words, we'd be not just taking our votes "off the table" and giving them to a third party...we'd be giving them to the "enemy!" The Republican Party has become our enemy so why not fight fire with fire? This would be a very different concept than voting for the "lesser of two evils."
