Ballot Initiative in California will Legalize Marijuana in 2010!!

My friend was on probation. He violated and saw a new judge.

Judge: "Let me get this straight, you are on probation, and here for possession of marijuana?"

Friend: "Yes"

Judge "This is a complete waste of my time, and taxpayer money,"

probation, violation dismissed. (he was a minor)

I don't know much about marijuana since I'm not a user myself, but isn't that pretty expensive? How much does an ounce cost right now?

An ounce of good marijuana is about $400 or so. Keep in mind this is A LOT of weed and would last a non-pothead many months, even if you smoked it every day. In terms of alcohol, having an ounce of potent marijuana would be like having a keg of beer

Considering the shops in Amsterdam sell sell 1 gram for about $10-$20, and there are 28 grams in an ounce, that's only a few dollars per gram. Not an excessive price to pay imo.

If this passes, just watch how many people move to California, or at least migrate en masse to buy their weed, vacation and support the local businesses. Besides the obvious tax revenues, there would be many positive effects on the economy.

The keg would do more harm- calories plus severe liver damage.
If you vaporized an ounce a week, your lungs wouldn't be damaged, and yeah, you'd have a high tolerance.

LOL Here in Oregon, people pay $7 a gram/$240 an ounce for the same stuff they sell in the dispensaries in California... if not better.

In Sacramento it was $20 a gram for the same stuff... no one smokes weed... because cocaine is the same price.

There is no honorable reason not to cram through the decriminalization of marijuana and hemp at Terri Schaivo land-record speed. There are places in this country that could still turn one whole crop yet this year, CALIFORNIA AMONG THEM.

It is INSANE not to decriminalize both post haste.

Its relative. Depends on what grade it is. It can be anywhere from 160 for crappy stuff to 4-500 for potent stuff that would last much longer. Also, an OZ is quite a bit when you toke a half gram here and a half gram there.

Vaporize an oz a week? Thats a complete waste of weed. I could see that if you were blowing blunts all day but vaping saves sooo much. You can recycle it over and over with a vaporizer and then after you have vaped you can save that until you get enuf to roll a joint and blow that out and get just as retarded as if you didn't vape it before hand. If anyone is toking that much they need to take a break for a few days to lower their tolerance.
