Bad Weather in SC

Americans in general probably don't. But I think old people everywhere are notorious for watching the weather channel, discussing the weather, planning everything around the weather, being afraid of the weather, and so on. Just sayin'

If it does have an effect, what a great story.

Rain affects the elderly in terms of planning because they know that broken bones have killed their friends. It's not the bone break but the results of the break - like not being able to walk anymore. Lack of ambulation causes more shit to build up in your lungs which is ripe breeding ground for pneumonia....

A broken hip led to my mom's death. With my dad, it was a broken pelvis. Broken bones really are the enemy of the elderly.

Rain = slick ground and slicker floors inside buildings.

Ergo, rainy days = stay at home.

It's really not too hard to understand *why* they stay home on rainy days.

And thank you, God, for sending rain to SC today.

Big picture, if bad weather helps Ron win, and the only state that has the worst weather at the moment is SC, and the man in charge of weather is God. Does God support Ron Paul!?

70 degrees and clear here in Myrtle Beach. Though I think this area would be more of a Romney stronghold (Horry county tends to be more moderate), so that could help to keep Newt in check.

Just saw that as well. The middle 2/3rds of the state are the only area that I would think would be affected by that, Columbia especially Charleston and Myrtle beach have great weather right now, and will for the next hour or so.

No, it wouldn't. As an atheist, coincidence most certainly will not dictate my opinion on theological matters. I will, however, celebrate a victory for liberty if Ron Paul wins or comes in second.

You're silly enough to think they would let Ron Paul win a state he's not supposed to? If Ron Paul has the most votes they will claim to lose the ballots from a bunch of precincts like they did in Iowa and knock him down to 2nd or 3rd.
