Audio update - Jim DeMint on Mike Gallagher only talking about Ron Paul

DeMint WANTS to endorse us.

He knows EVERYONE other than Paul is a PHONY.

But he will NOT endorse us because the GOP will NEVER forgive him if he does.

Basically, Jim DeMint is a COWARD.

I agree, but I wouldn't say DeMint is a coward. There are some very powerful establishment GOP folks in this state and that would cause real uproar. I do think the establishment should have to pee in their pants a bit though.

If by some act of God DeMint and Palin endorsed Ron this week, he'd be on equal footing with mittens and the grinch in SC. I'm not convinced at all it'll happen but we can hope.

Neither is going to be in office and both have future president/vp ambitions. This can only help them gain access to 1/4 of the GOP.

he's definitely leaning Paul's way, and being as suggestive as possible.

Gives a lot of positive momentum and vibes for those in SC to at least know DeMint's with them when they mention Ron Paul in their local circles.

All good stuff, widening and paving the pathway for more to consider our guy.

Demint needs to put his money where his mouth is. "Support the real conservative?" Well, Jim, your endorsement has the power to sway the momentum squarely in that real conservative's direction. Why don't you do it...unless you're waiting for the right time.

Didn't read the whole thread, but Mike Gallagher is the guy who was standing up for the right of Ron Paul to be considered a valid candidate. I heard him yesterday saying that he TAKES BACK what he said about I'LL NEVER VOTE FOR RON PAUL.

In other words, he was saying yesterday that it was POSSIBLE THAT HE WOULD VOTE FOR RON PAUL.

Nice to hear someone from the neocon peanut gallery giving Ron Paul a fair shake.

I was listening this morning and there was one other time he mentioned Ron Paul, said he disagreed with him on foreign policy but if the country goes bankrupt then we won't be able to defend our interests around the world.
