It's been months since I played. Is anybody even in SW anymore? I quit playing about a month after burning crusade and I figured everybody is now in the new lands.

I would like to help organize this maybe. I looked at http://www.warcraftrealms.com/realmstats.php to pick out a good PvE server with a very high alliance population (since we are marching towards stormwind) for our message will reach the most people possible.

This is the server I have picked out:

Whisperwind (CST Server, PvE)

Alright I am in. The risk of getting banned is extremely slow as long as we don't try to crash the server or spam the channels. We should do it on several servers since it is relatively easy and many wow players would find it fun. Have like only 10% talk in /yell and the rest with white text.

edit: we could also pvp because trust me we will be dying alot. Nothing like 10 lvl 1s trying to kill lowbies that attacked them.

And maybe we should all start our new characters names with "rp"

Good question. Well, yeah the majority of people are in that Shattrath city in outland, but obviously we couldn't all get there since we would all be lvl1.

As far as old-world goes, most people seem to hang out at ironforge, not stormwind, though stormwind is far from dead dead.

OK so let's use his research and go with "Whisperwind". Now to pick a day. What's a good relevant day? New Year's Day?

The organizer should do it in such a way where we don't interfere with normal gaming activities. Such as blocking mailboxes and spamming in chat channels.

Absolutely agree. We don't need people screaming and spamming anything. It should all be in SAY except maybe we could have some designated people inviting in LFG channel for a "Political discussion in Stormwind" or something.

PvE server obviously. Timezone (EST,PST,CST) doesn't really matter except for what time we hold the event, we want to do it at a time of day when the most people are online, usually that's around 9pm EST I find.

I think one server would be adequate. I think it would have more impact having 1,000 supporters all storming stormwind on one sever than having 100 supporters all storming stormwind on 10 servers.

Of course if we're successfull, we can always do it again on another server, perhaps even a third or fourth time after that on 2 more servers.

They can see our guild name. And our usernames. The point is, we are marching towards stormwind, we want the most peopel to see us, so we need a server that has lots of alliance.

Biggest server loads are on Saturday afternoons, might be good to choose that as a day for maximum exposure.

We'll go with Whisperwind server.

Someone choose the starting race that starts us off closest to SW, I haven't been back into the old world since BC came out.

Also please don't pick evening times- this is when most of the PVE raiders are busy in 25-mans.
