Attention WoW gamers!

I remember when warriors were protesting changes of some sort the people who led the group got permanent bans. The people who joined in got suspended for a few days I believe.

In WoW world this is a form of civil disobedience so be prepared to pay the consequences of doing this. It could be nothing, a 1, 2 or 3 day suspension or a permanent ban. I just cannot risk the chance of getting banned, so I will have to sit this out. :o

Now if you just want to start up a guild with RP supporters, I am all for that!

I noticed the level 70 guy named Ronpaul is a senior sergeant, meaning he's been playing since before December 06, when the patch came out a few weeks before BC was released. So, either he was a Ron Paul fan for him being in Congress, or Ron Paul is his name in real life, and it's just a coincidence. <_<

The problem is I think trial accounts can't start and form guilds.

So our leader will have to be one person who is brave enough to possibly get banned.

Trial accounts cannot join guilds either.

The following restrictions are placed on all Trial Accounts:

* A level cap of 20.
* A maximum of 10 gold.
* Trade skills are capped at 100 ranks.
* Inability to trade via the auction house, mailbox, or player-to-player.
* In-Game public chat channels will be unavailable. (Players will still be able to communicate using say, party, or whispers).
* Characters will be unable to create or join existing guilds.
* Accounts will no longer be able to whisper other players unless they have been added to those players' friends lists or have received a whisper from them first.
* Characters will not be able to invite or join parties with other players above level 20.
* Voice Chat is disabled on trial accounts.
* Realms with login queues will give priority to customers with retail accounts.
* Will not be eligible for any Character Transfer service.

Unless that's new, it's wrong, because 3 weeks ago I was in a newbie guild that had a lot of people with trial accounts, because they always talked about "yep in a few days I'm going to go buy the game"

And for the love of Pete, stay away from the roleplaying realms, where character and guild name restrictions reach near-Puritanical levels. My sister got in trouble for naming her guild "Teh Pwnerers." :D

70 paladin(all epics), 70 mage(mostly epics), 70 hunter(mostly epics), 51 priest, 53 rogue, 61 warrior.

I'd do just about anything to see Paul elected but no way I'll ever reinstall that game. :)

I might grab the free trial to join in this march.

Is there an official time for this yet?

They have added new things recently because of all the gold spammers using trial accounts.

I took that information directly off of blizzard's site, so I assume it's accurate.

Trial accounts can no longer invite people to groups for instance.

OK, without any formal agreement, here is what I propose:

What: We start in IF and march to SW. (Is there a court house in SW?)
When: News Years Day at 8:30 pm EST (We won't move out until 9:15 pm EST, this will allow others to join at last min)
Where: IF gates on the server Whisperwind

We'll need escorts. Mainly DPS and Healers.

Does anyone know a guild on Whisperwind that could help sponser?

Concerns: Getting banned. Probably true but I can't see them giving more than a day or 2. Worth it to me.

I highly doubt they will ban you... I've done zombie marches before and actually had a GM come join us to watch the fun. They aren't all assholes these days.

Sounds good. Unless things change by tonight I'll create a toon on that server. Now we need to spread the word in the online WoW world!
