Attention WoW gamers!

I'm still down for hosting the website/page.

Someone give me exact times, places, etc... (Preferably in English, or if it's already formatted in WoWish. If you want it in WoWish I'll need a translator... And if it's in WoWish and you want it in English for those that want to join in but don't have a clue - again, I'll need a translator.)
 
We should probably also make a list of media to contact - both gamer sites/magazines and political ones, and give them a heads up - but not so much advance notice that they or WoW can mess with us.

Lets also get the guild started and get a bunch of folks online before the date so we can network there as well. I think we need 40 or so signatures to be a legit guild.
 
Does anyone know a guild on the server? I've created my character and named it "Whoisronpaul"

I don't play as much as I use to but I'll try to be on. If anyone wants to take over the leadership of making this happen, please speak up.

I don't have any cash in the game yet so we may need to start early or get some sponsorship from a guild already on the server.

Kalash has offered to host the web page. If any of you savvy web folks wanna do up a page real fast and get it to Kalash, please speak up and let us know. We can get it on Digg after that.
 
I don't think it costs us anything to start a guild, we just need enough people to sign on to it.

If the whole idea is to do a march as Ron Paul supporters, I think we have to have our own guild - we just need to decide on a name and get everyone to sign on and join. Not sure why we'd need another guild to help.
 
Do we even need a guild? Won't 40+ characters with similar names get the point across. This might make it easier for trial account users.

Once a site with a plan is up you can start delegating.

I have the server, space, and hosting.

The guild would be nice, but not necessary. I'm sure some who are not trial account users will join the guild while the rest of us will just provide supporter "filler".
 
I just either use a clan tag or an underscore like

[RP08]Soccrmastr or Soccrmastr_RP08 for Counter Strike Source and Counter Strike and TF2 FEAR etc

in WoW I could make new character with like rp in the beginning or something or rp08

I actually met a Ron Paul 2008 guy on Guild Wars was pretty cool

I think we do need a guild - since we're more likely to get banned if we do lots of chat channel spamming, having a guild name flying over our head gives us a way of getting our message across without getting in trouble. Naturally anyone with a trial account is welcome to walk alongside. (But if you can afford it, pay for one month.) Also it gives us more ability to have variety in our names, since there are only so many Ron Paul name combos we can come up with. I'd suggest if you can't think up a Ron Paul name then go with something reminiscent of the principles of freedom and liberty, or based on the names of the heroes of 1776.

Oh it occurs to me - when you sign up for a paid account you get your first month free. Not sure what happens if you cancel before the free month is over - whether you get charged or not.

And get this going.

If 2-3 people do it, FINE! We'll pick whatever the consensus thinks is best.

But... get it going - get a rallying point/website...
And move on this.

Okay, thanks to the help of Paulrevered (character name) I've started up our guild. The name is Revolution (they wouldn't let me use numbers in the name, so I couldn't get R3volution.

We need 10 people to start the guild. I'll stay on as long as I can tonight (its already 3am here) and try to be on as much as possible tomorrow.

As soon as I have the option of doing that (once we get the first 10 signatures I think) I'll set it so that all members can add new members. LOL I'm new to starting guilds, so I'm learning as I go here.

Also it would be nice if we can come up with a guild tabard, but I think that does take money (I recall my guild master on another server saying it was somewhere around 25 gold) and I think it's a gold each to purchase it. (A phenomenal amount of money for a low level character). I wish I could send money from another server, if I could I'd fund the whole thing!

I'm "Lemur"s husband. It's Alliance.

I personally, don't play the game, so this whole thing is rather amusing to me, but the idea is cool.

Her character, the Guild Mistress, is "LettuceBfree". Server is WhisperWind. She says to make the journey to StormWind and IronForge easiest, use characters that are Dwarfs, Gnomes, or Humans.

She's busy killing something.
