He was always in grave danger of that. As you can see, the outcome will depend entirely on the undeclared delegates and probably very few of them like Ron Paul at the moment. I really think that to win this we need more than a targeted mailing.
A) We'll need a strong placing in Iowa and NH (and an increase in the national polls) to show he's a "legitimate" candidate. They don't want to be "throwing their vote away."
B) We'll need to send our best representatives (preferably from WV) to personally convince them that RP is the best candidate for them. We'll need to address every concern they might have or attacks from the media. We'll need to followup (by phone, email or in person) in case they pick up more before the convention.
yeah that's it. LOLThere must be a megachurch around there. lol
Alan Keyes has more delegates than John Mccain in Kanawha county.

I think that is just too funny.
For once, something decent from Mr Sprouse:

Folks, (bcc: to a number of campaigns)
We are working through a very large number of delegate filings and trying to get them entered in the database. I'm sure you saw in the press that we had over 200 pieces of mail that was picked up on Monday and Tuesday. Each piece is being examined for postmark and we are working to post those with November 30 or earlier postmarks.
The volume is higher than suggested by the 200 pieces of mail as many had multiple applications, such as from families, executive committees, or campaigns.
We will have an update to the file today about 4:00 PM, reflecting where we are in the process. Additional updates will be posted as quickly as those forms can be processed.
I will also advise you to expect that a very small number of applications may be later removed if their payment was not received by the deadline. As you know, frequently committees sent one check for several applications and those checks are in the office.

Just in from the Convention Chairman:
"I will also advise you to expect that a very small number of applications may be later removed if their payment was not received by the deadline."
Anyone watching this?

I made a copy of every check I wrote and sent in with each application...Maybe my "hyper-paranoia" was not so far-fetched? In fact, I scanned a copy of each form, check and envelope I sent in.
