ATL meetup group I-75 Billboard

Another one I'm working on

Just thought I'd post it to see if anyone would like to me to continue developing this.

I've also got it in .AI, .PDF and .EPS formats.

I like the message on there but there are too many different fonts going on. Also, i would experiment with other colors instead of gray for that border.

Here's the two drafts I sent to Cade before the Meetup on Monday night.

The general consensus at the meetup was that we would go with Wayne's general layout but use verbiage bullet-point verbiage more similar to this:

I am working on a third draft that collects the best of both worlds.

I just used the same border from their website, and only the fonts from the official logo. :-)

it's just a submission, so go with whatever we like

I'd drop "restore the constitution" its great for all of us, but I'd replace it with a hot button issue that every American is for...."secure borders".

This picture is dying to be placed on a billboard somewhere.

This could also make a very unique poster...I think this theme has a lot of potential and would be utterly eye catching if large enough.

These are the best, IMO -- thanks!
I like using the phrase "open primary" to encourage support from independents.

However, there should be some indication that he's against the war. "Support the troops" has unfortunately become code for "support the war" to most people.

Agreed. How about these?

1. Support the Troops- Bring Them Home
Restore the Free Market, Restore the Constitution

2. Bring Our Troops Home, Restore the Free Market, Restore the Constitution

3. Bring Our Troops Home, Slash Taxes and Spending, Restore the Constitution

I like 3. It will appeal to the many people who are dissatisfied with the war and big government taxes and spending. "Slash Taxes and Spending" and "Restore the Constitution" will perhaps also mollify the conservatives who get their views on the war from talk radio.

Another thing I wanted to suggest to everyone was to think of Reverse Psychology type ad campaigns. Example:

Do NOT visit
ronpaul2008.com

I know if I saw that on a sign in big bold letters the first thing I'd do is go to ronpaul2008.com because my curiosity would be at level 10. Thus far all of our ideas have been typical politician style designs, which everyone and their mother has seen and never pays attention to. I have a feeling that it might not register with as many folks. We might garner more attention if we used some PsyOp ad campaign on them instead. So any ideas you folks could throw in that direction as well would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm...reverse psychology, eh?

How about:

For
Recession? * War? * Repression?

Do NOT Go to RonPaul2008.com

Ron Paul for President

I like the original one. Making the point that our troops support him is very important. The only problem with most of these ideas though is that they seem to go strictly for regular GOP caucus goers. Maybe there is a way to get a line or two that would grab the anti-war "progressive" types?

I also like the same design that theprolific posted before me - Ron Paul's smiling face and Peace, Prosperity, & Freedom. I can't figure out how to post the picture. I like this picture a lot better than the picture that has half of the face in the dark. How much more money do we need for the billboard? We want to chip in!

Mary Lou & Mike

I just ordered a version of the first design, to be made into a 3 foot by 1/6 ft coroplast sign. ( $40.00)

Can't wait to use it for upcoming sign waves and to leave in my back windshield.

I'll post a photo of it when I get it tommorow.

Nice work on this project you all!

I want to get my local meetups to do a bill board like this as well.

I really like that idea wgadget. I Will see if I cant get a sign up tonight at some point.

IF YOU WANT
RECESSION*WAR*REPRESSION
DO NOT GO TO RONPAUL2008.COM

IF you are going to use the first design

You need a less sinister, more sunny look for Dr. Paul. Remember this is a rEVOLution. When we are introducing Dr. Paul for the first time, we want to make a friendly, approachable first impression
