Atheist Ron Paul supporters

I really don't mind the Atheist supporters most of the time.
I just wish they weren't so aggressively antagonistic.

Only on the internet can you make a thread calling for atheists and have christians come in and feel like victims.

Victim? No
This is a discussion board though, and the religion Sub Forum.
So this is the right place to discus the atheist religion.

;)

Define religion, then explain to me how not believing one is being one.

Don't you mean.... Only on the internet can you make a thread in a forum named for a CHRISTIAN man, Ron Paul, to insult his faith and that of many of his supporters.

The reason behind it is similar to why so many Ron Paul supporters are aggressively antagonistic: being ridiculed, ignored, and pushed around (if not outright persecuted).

Luke, do you have any interest in Ron Paul, or did you just come here to talk about atheism?

Wrong.
it defines a specific belief.

Theism is a specific belief, the "A" describes a lack of that specific belief, not the presence of a belief.

i.e.

Moral = With concern for morality
Amoral = Without concern for morality

Sexual = With sex
ASexual = Without sex

Gnostic = With Knowledge
Agnostic = Without Knowledge

Archy = Ruler
Anarchy = Without Ruler

Theism = Belief in one or more "Gods"
Atheism = Without belief in a "God"

etc. etc. etc.

All the mental gymnastics in the world will not change this. ;)

I'm wearing a Ron Paul shirt as we speak, on a Ron Paul forum, trying to find out how many like minded supporters are around.

Not that I want your approval, but what else do you need to see?

Nothing. I was just curious, given that about 1/2 of your posts since you've been here have been about atheism. We have a lot of trolling behavior from other camps during elections, so it seemed fair to ask.

I'm responding in a thread I created, as I think it's the courteous thing to do.

i would suspect that somebody who describes himself as a Ron Paul supporter would be interested in Ron Paul, don't you think?

Not necessarily. Several Trolls in the past have had "ron paul supporter" in their user name or adamantly declared they were supporters while speaking against the positions and principles of Ron Paul.

In plain English,, it don't mean shit.

yeah, it's also not necessarily true that you're a RP supporter. maybe you're just building confidence to betray people? it's possible. it happened before.

seriously, why not give a little more benefit of the doubt to someone who created a perfectly reasonable thread for off topic. reminder of the OP:

Atheist Ron Paul supporters
How many are we?
