Assault Rifle Publicity Stunt Was Planned With Police

I don't understand what is wrong with this. By coordinating with police, they allowed the police to do their job. I own a few weapons. I don't carry myself, but I have no problem with someone, who chooses to carry. However a firearm is not a form of intimidation. Anyone who uses it as such has obviously never had to have real responsibility, while carrying a firearm. They aren't toys or T-shirt logos.

Ok man, listen to me, and try to understand what I'm saying. Your mind is so conspiracy oriented, that you twist and turn ideas a thousand times in your head to where they don't make sense anymore. I really think you might go insane if you don't take a step back.

IP also thinks G. Edward Griffin is Controlled Opposition. Now Ron Paul? Chill out IP.

Everytime I see one of these interviews, what little confidence I have in MSM goes down even further. I'm glad I don't actually watch CNN or MSNBC.

But, good for Ernie Hancock and Chris!

Note: The person who created a Ron Paul "Revolution" logo is a John Birch Society member. :-)

Nice!

Protester carried rifle as publicity stunt

United Press International
Aug. 19, 2009

A protester who carried a semiautomatic rifle near the Phoenix Convention Center as President Obama spoke about healthcare reform said it was a publicity stunt.
...

Chris had met with Libertarians with whom he had worked on Ron Paul's presidential campaign, and they helped arrange the stunt, the Republic said.

Ernest Hancock, the publisher of a Libertarian publication, Freedom's Phoenix, told CNN Chris was a Phoenix-area resident, an independent conservative and a member of the John Birch Society.

All that happened here was Chris and his buddies contacted the cops before hand so that nothing crazy happened, like secret service seeing the gun and killing him. That's it, no conspiracy.

Well said. I don't see the issue here.

Wait, a black man is a member of the John Birch Society? Everyone I know keeps telling me that the JBS is just the new KKK whenever I bring it up.

Ernest Hancock is a JBS member, I don't know about the gentleman with the gun.

Side note:
Alicia Healy, a black female, is a member of the John Birch Society and her husband is a Columbus, Ohio chapter leader.

Frank, you can't take away the SPLC's shrieks of "racist!" or else they'll have to do something more drastic to smear such organizations.

Pretty good speech she gave there too.

This guy always gives the benediction at the big jbs events in my area:

The people that smear the jbs as racist are quite misinformed. But as amy says, it does work.

Oh man, that's awesome! If it wasn't so dang hot there I'd move to Phoenix. Probably better there right now than it is in York, Pa what with that dry heat. Felt like a damn sauna outside today. ;)

LMFAO WHen CNN asks if someone was being disingenuous I have to laugh.
Ever heard of Wolfe Blitzer?

I never said this nor implied this about RP. Apologize!

With respect to Griffin, I stand by what I said. The dialectic dynamics confirm it. But I don't expect someone inside a group that lives inside the dialectic to be able to see it, so there is no reason to engage in any further discussion here.
