Army Command warns terrorists attempting to flee Mosul into Syria would be dealt with

Army-General-Command-logo-660x330.jpg

Damascus, SANA –
The General Command of the Army and the Armed Forces said
the supporters of international terrorism
are trying to secure safe routes and corridors for the ISIS terrorists
who are fleeing Iraq’s Mosul to cross into Syria.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Command said a “malicious scheme”
by the backers of international terrorism, mainly the US and Saudi Arabia,
is unfolding and becoming clear after military operations were launched
by the brotherly Iraqi army and its supporting forces to liberate Mosul city
from the gangs of ISIS terrorist organization.

The scheme, the statement explained,
is to provide safe routes for the groupings of ISIS terrorists
who are reeling under the Iraqi army’s strikes in Mosul-Iraq’s second largest city-
to cross the border into the Syrian territory.

The aim of providing such corridors, it added,
is to provide protection to the terrorists on the one hand
and boost the terrorist presence inside the Syrian territory on the other hand
in a bid to impose a new military reality in the eastern region
in the direction of Deir Ezzor, Raqqa and Palmyra.

The General Command of the Army stressed in its statement
that the battle of liberating Mosul and the whole territory of Iraq from terrorism
is its own battle.

The Command warned that it would consider any attempt at crossing into its border
as “an attack on the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic,”
and that those who attempt to do that would be regarded as terrorists
and would be dealt with with all the forces and means at its disposal.

Syrian Army Claims US, Saudi Arabia Allow Daesh to Flee From Mosul to Syria

The Syrian Army claimed on Tuesday that the US and Saudi Arabia
are allowing Daesh terrorists passage into Syria from Mosul.

According to the army's statement released via state media,
the US-led coalition plans to entail securing roads and safe passages into Syria
to allow the terrorists to consolidate their presence and create "new battleground realities" in eastern Syria.

"Any attempt to cross the border is an attack on the sovereignty of Syria…
and would be dealt with all forces available," the statement said.

Russian military builds new runway in east Syria as ISIS flees Mosul

HOMS, SYRIA (10:00 P.M.) -
The Russian Air Force has built a new runway at the T-4 Military Airport in eastern Homs
after reports of several Islamic State fighters fleeing the large Iraqi city of Mosul for Syria.

Prior to the Islamic State's massive counter-offensive in the Al-Sha'er region of east Homs,
the Russian Air Force was actively using the T-4 Military Airport
as a command center to advise the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the area.

However, due to the increased security risks near the T-4 Airport,
the Russian military advisors moved their command post to Palmyra
and most of their aircraft to the Hmaymim Airport in west Latakia.

"With ISIS fleeing Mosul for eastern Syria,
the Russian Air Force has made the decision
to beef up their air presence around the Deir Ezzor Governorate
in anticipation for this influx of terrorists."

Syrian Army captures Russian Regiment Base in northern Hama

HAMA, SYRIA (7:45 P.M.) -
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their large-scale counter-offensive in the northern Hama countryside on Tuesday,
targeting the key town of Souran and the nearby Russian Regiment Base.

Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army established full control over the Russian Regiment Base this afternoon,
killing several members of Jaysh Al-'Izza and Ibna Al-Sham just north of recently captured Ma'ardes.

Following the capture of the Russian Regiment Base,
the Syrian Armed Forces advanced to the outskirts of Souran,
where they were confronted by a large contingent of jihadist rebels at the town's eastern flank.

With the Syrian Armed Forces at the outskirts of Souran,
the jihadist rebels are now in serious trouble as the former looks to recapture
all of the territory they lost in September.

(►This failed headchopper offensive in Hama temporarily put pressure on the SAA & RuAF to surrender some important logistics.
It was meant to distract from the jihaddi breaching the siege of E. Aleppo. Now both have failed and all the 'lost' territories
and military resources are being regained and rebuilt to thwart the hegemon 'plans' for Deir Ezzor, Shaddadi (US Airbase) and Hasakah.)

I read an article a few days ago that mentioned that the shia militias are planning to stay out of the fight for Mosul in order to calm down the residents/eliminate any potential western propaganda news that they are massacring civilians in the city. Instead, they plan on camping around the escape routes out of Mosul to kill the ISIS fighters trying to escape the fight.

Oh how I wish I can see the look on John Kerry's horse face when the ISIS kill videos start coming out.

Russian-airstrikes-696x377.jpg

DAMASCUS, SYRIA (1:15 A.M.) - The Syrian and Russian air forces are working overtime tonight,
striking several areas under the control of the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) in eastern Syria.

A Russian air battalion led the way tonight, targeting the Islamic State's positions inside the Deir Ezzor Governorate.

The Russian attack was followed by a series of Syrian airstrikes at the Al-Hawiqah District of Deir Ezzor;
this resulted in the destruction of 5 Islamic State vehicles, including 1 bulldozer and tank.

In addition to the attack on Deir Ezzor, the Syrian and Russian air force struck the Islamic State's defenses
at the Al-Sha'er Oil Fields, paving the way for another Syrian Army advance near Well 101.

The Russian and Syrian air forces conducted over 55 airstrikes above eastern Syria tonight,
killing dozens of Islamic State combatants in the process.

Iraqi forces to block the Islamic State’s pathway to Syria

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (3:20 A.M.) - The Popular Mobilization Units (PMU)
are preparing to launch a massive assault in western Mosul,
following a successful 48 hours that included the liberation of several villages.

With the PMU attacking the western flank of Mosul,
the Islamic State will find themselves flanked from three different sides,
leaving only the northern countryside open for retreat.

The PMU's attack on Mosul's western flank will close-off the Islamic State's pathway to the Syrian border,
contrasting reports that the Iraqi Armed Forces are allowing the terrorist group to freely retreat to Syria.

In addition to the ground assault, the Iraqi Air Force has begun bombing
the Islamic State's positions along the Iraqi-Syrian border
in order to obstruct the flow of terrorists between both countries.

ISIS TRYING TO CREATE 'PRETEXT'

ISIS ambushed, killed/wounded "dozens" of Peshmerga near Bashiqa,
This is where Turkey is storing their fighters and are besieged by Iraqi troops to prevent their participation.

Just wait. There will soon be an attack on Turkey's base in Bashiqa
conveniently giving them the excuse to cross the border!
NOBODY will be fooled... then again, Erdo and Sec. Def. Carter MEET tomorrow.
Perfect 'kick off' time.

PMU announce operation to cut ISIS escape into Syria from Mosul

IMG_3894.jpg

The Shia-led Popular Mobilization Units (PMU)
have announced that they will begin an operation to capture Tal Afar from ISIS.

The city which is predominately Turkmen, l
ays only 80km west of Mosul on the highway leading to eastern Syria.

This vital operation by the PMU is to ensure that ISIS
cannot escape from Iraq into the vast deserts of eastern Syria that it controls.

Blocking ISIS from escape will also ensure that the terrorist group
can never again threaten Iraq and weaken its operations in Syria
as vital supply lines for ISIS will be cut between the two countries.

I kinda wish russia would shoot down turkish planes or at least fire warning shots. Its silly that turkey, saudi and israeli are pretty much in the same league and it makes for strange bedfellows. So much carnage in the world from those 3 countries and its ally usa.

Erdogan proclaims Mosul and Aleppo belong to Turkey

ANKARA, TURKEY (1:20 P.M.) - Speaking during an opening ceremony for an educational institution in Bursa on Saturday,
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan compared the way that Syrians and Iraqis
have been driven away from homes because of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; ISIS/ISIL),
to how Turkish people were once forced out from the same cities.

Erdogan added that the cities of Mosul and Aleppo belong to the Turkish people.

MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/.
Russian warplanes are ready at any moment
to deliver strikes against militants moving into Syria from Iraq.

"The Russian Aerospace Force is monitoring the situation in the area of the Syrian-Iraqi border day and night
with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles and other reconnaissance means.
Russian planes are on patrol missions in the airspace and are ready to immediately deliver strikes against terrorists,"

Members of the Islamic State terrorist group continue moving from Iraq to Syria,
while around 300 terrorists have already arrived in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor from Iraq’s Mosul.

No major success in Mosul operation

The general has pointed out that the Russian military are keeping a close eye on the situation around Iraq’s Mosul
but see no "major success" in liberating this city from terrorists.

"We are closely watching the situation around Mosul. So far, we see no major success
in the coalition’s operation to liberate this city from Islamic State terrorists,".

Over 60 civilians killed in coalition’s air strikes in Iraq

The official noted that over 60 civilians had been killed and more than 200 have been wounded
in the past three days in air strikes by the United States-led coalition in Mosul and neighboring settlements.

"We know about numerous facts of the U.S.-led coalition’s air strikes
against living quarters, schools and other civil infrastructure buildings
both in Mosul and in other settlements in the Iraq’s Nineveh governorate,.
"In the past three days alone, more than 60 civilians, including children,
have fell victims of these air strikes. More than 200 people have been wounded."

A US warplane delivered an air strike on
►the Al-Hajj Yunus school for girls in southern Mosul on October 21.
On the following day, air strikes hit living quarters in the settlements of
►Qaraqosh 20 kilometers east of Mosul
►and Hazna 15 kilometers east of Mosul.

On October 23, US warplane bombed the settlements of
►Qaraqharab 17 kilometers north of Mosul
►and al-Shura 34 kilometers south of Mosul, where many social buildings were destroyed,.

No-fly regime around Syria’s Aleppo

"I would draw your attention to the fact that since October 18,
Russian and Syrian warplanes have been performing no flights in a ten-kilometer zone around Aleppo.
The moratorium on airstrikes by Russian and Syrian aviation around this city will be extended," Rudskoi said.

Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)
Major General Qassem Soleimani has arrived in Hashd al-Sha'abi (popular forces) PMU operations room in Mosul
to play his advisory role in anti-ISIL campaign in Iraq, Arab media reported on Wednesday.

"Hashd al-Sha'abi will soon start its operations in Western Mosul
to cut the ISIL's supply routes to Syria
and defuse the US plots to postpone the popular forces' participation in the Mosul operations,
and General Soleimani has also joined them as a military advisor,"
the Arabic-language al-Akhbar said quoting renowned Iraqi figures.

Washington is pressuring Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi
not to allow Hashd al-Sha'abi forces to participate in the Mosul liberation operations.
