This is a lesson for all of us. If you go to your state convention read up on roberts rules of order before you go and be prepared to take control of the situation if the establishment tries to shut you down.
And be familiar with your state party rules, as well.
We can't have these kind of mistakes with inexperienced people in upcoming states. Better organization and training should be priority #1 here on out.
Exactly. And people need to be involved for the long-haul at the precinct level & up. If they were, this kind of thing (rump conventions, etc.) wouldn't be necessary in the first place.
That's one of the things RV Guy was trying to point out, but a lot of people seem to prefer hatin' on 'im because he & the other people there didn't just willy-nilly declare victory for Ron Paul.
These things require a LOT more than just vague but enthusiastic notions about quorums, motions, adjournments, etc.
